Well, if you've got a conviction for fraud I doubt he'll work in the same industry. But who knows...

I work in brokerage and am licensed to sell securities. The felony fraud conviction will get his licensing taken away permanently and disqualify him from working in the industry in any capacity for 10 years.

He stole money from Americans who had pull. That's the only reason why.

I don't mind this sentence in particular, but I do mind how it compares to so many other non-violent offenses. But there's no reason that stealing money should be considered less of a big deal. Losses like these can and do ruin lives.

And count me in as surprised when anybody gets busted for these kinds of white collar crimes. I guess you're only held responsible if you steal and defraud as an individual.

JPMorgan has restored all of the stolen funds so no individuals were harmed.

Neither. Reverse Google search revelas that this is the Långholmen Hotel Södermalm Stockholm. A prison converted into a hostel.
