Nah. Selling software is not really that profitable as taking a 30% cut from every transaction inside your storefront. in fact; become Xbox is going to depend on so much in actual software sales two things will happen:

1. The will kill Game Pass
2. Smaller studios are going to be closed

Trilogy is amazing. Some of my fav games.
I don't like Ultimate edition of Gears 1 though... it's audio mix sucks, brumak level (also in pc version of original) sucks and breaks the pacing.
I hope at least 2 and 3 are straight up 4k120fps remasters. not remakes like UE for gears 1

Gear's should have a console war playlist where it pits a team of playstation players against a team of Xbox players. Voice chat between teams always on and report player button absent.

I think any of these cross play PvP games should have this. Would be funny and pretty easily done.

FWIW, I loved Gears 1 and 2 on the 360 back in the 00s and will be getting this on the PS5.

Gears is my fav licence from Microsoft, with Fable, if that's real (and obviously it is... If Forza fallen...). Again a game that'll play better on PS5 than on Xbox... Weird.

For you guys who never played Gears, it's an awesome shooter. BUT totally different than any typical first person run and gunner. It's third person/over the shoulder, requires lots of cover, peaking over ledges or around corner as you're ducked down, and rifles dont do much damage. It's a game skewed to shotgunners and snipers who are good at cover to cover gameplay.

Play the game like COD and you'll get destroyed. I was never good at this game in MP.

If you dont want to play all the games (overkill), skip #1. Also, #2 and #3 have Horde mode which is awesome. Wave after wave of enemies in survival mode which you can play solo if you dont want to team up in coop.

As one of the best in my country you have not a clue of what are you suggesting to other people..
Gears 1 is the best multiplayer of all and gears 2 was shit due to shotgun beeing entirely different and bugged in the beginning.
Gears 1 will always be the game simple but also skilled with no atrocious guns like the other games.
Also a good lancer dude could easily destroy a shotgun dude if he knew how to play.
Gears 1 was the best multiplayer skilled game that i have ever played there is no chance that a noob could kill a veteran even with a launcer...

Crazy that it took MS becoming a 3rd party publisher for us to get Gears 2 & 3 remastered. In the age of remakes/remasters we should have had those years ago along with the Fable Trilogy, Viva Pinata, Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie, PGR, Conker, Crackdown, Ninja Blade, Crimson Skies, etc, etc.

Nothing this company does with respect to games makes any sense anymore. It's like they got a goldfish with a neuralink running the company ffs.

gears 3 was uncharted up...

Gears 3 is the best of the trilogy, also had 4 player coop and the campaign was very meaty.. judgment was garbage and lasted like 5 minutes.
