Picking this bad boy up tomorrow on that triple.

Also taking advantage of TRU sale with a buddy so we can blast through that coop itch i've been having.

I like how ign says 7-8 hours yet ccc says 3-4. Too bad a playthrough already sides with the latter.

I don't know. I always clock in half the time IGN says it takes to complete a game. I don't trust their completion times at all anymore.

Still without luck

I got to admit, IGN's video review has me pumped up for this tomorrow and i usually don't agree with IGN.
Colin, the reviewer for this game, loves the Resistance series and thinks Resistance 2 is an amazing game. He likes a lot of other shit games too.

Well CCC did say it's 3-4 hours AS FETTEL. I haven't been keeping up with the game, but isn't he the omnipotent ghost guy?

I knew it would turn out good. I'm so getting this tomorrow. Can't wait to rekindle the flame between myself and Alma. We had such a hot relationship 2 years ago, I can't figure out why we stopped seeing eachother.

Sooooo, pretty much a mixed reaction?

I really want this game to be good even though I always hated the stupid idea of co-op with Fettel.

I loved F.E.A.R and Project Origin to a lesser extend. I was really hoping for this one to nail the same feel as the first game. I hated the loss of the lean maneuver, and the combat overall felt really clunky to me in Project Origin.

Are the multilayer modes available offline too or just online? I know there is local coop but what about the other modes?

Yeah I would like to know if you can play F*cking Run splitscreen online. Does anyone know?

Has anyone had issues getting a 360 gamepad to work with the PC version? For some reason I can't get mine to work, even though it says Controller Enabled under the settings.

Seeing 8s is enough to prove to me the game is at least competent which is all I care about. I'm buying this for Fucking Run.

Well now, that is some compelling evidence. FF VI is his favorite FF and he is also a big advocate for RE4 over RE5. I tend to agree with most of his opinions (including his opinion on the Resistance series).

Well.. Fear 2 DLC Spoilers, ahoy
In Fear 2: Reborn he actually posesses one of the cloned troops, so he has an actual physical form now

I do not avoid women, GAF, but I do deny them my essence.

Yeah, I always seem to beat games a lot faster than reviewers advertise it should take me.

Day 1 Studios did a fantastic job of porting F.E.A.R. to the Xbox 360, and I'm one of the rare few who actually enjoyed Fracture, so it's nice to see F.3.A.R. get a few positive reviews thus far.

I will admit though, that everything about this game rubbed me the wrong way upon its initial unvieling. Regardless, I can't wait to get my hands on it.

Will be trying this on OnLive. Would have to be really good for me to blow my coupon to get it free though.
People (from OnLivefans forums) who have been playing the OnLive version have really been liking it so far. It launched on the service 12:00am this morning with absolutely no issues. The same could not have been said of DNF, although most of the issues with that game have been fixed.

Has anyone confirmed that the deal is still a go in-store? The online promo seems to have disappeared from existence.

If this is good I am all over it. Fear 1 was the shit, Fear 2 was enjoyable as well, but I am not sure about this one yet.

Can anyone provide a list of guns we will be able to select in the game?
Thanks.

Also - in Fear 2, the shotgun was horrible in comparision to Fear. The slowmo combat had a much more visceral feel in Fear as well vs the sequel. Can anyone give any feedback if this combat is more like Fear 1 or Fear 2?

OnLive are doing a 30minute trial. Totally free, 2mb download for the client.

I've used them before for RFA, I didn't like it.

I wanted an HD stream, less lag, and ability to change graphics settings.

3 hours 56 minutes. Its not a speed run either. Its just a really short game.
that was done as co-op playing both Point Man and Fettel stories simultaneously. If you play solo, you play as Point Man, then go back and play as Fettel, which leads to 8 hour single player campaign, or play them simultaneously via co-op for a four hour campaign.

Are the campaigns different or are you just playing the same thing with different characters?

Gonna get this when it's $10 on steam.

I take paid reviewers with a grain of salt.
This will be sitting on my porch when I get home. If it stinks I'll rip it apart in as many words as you're willing to read.

from my understanding you play the same levels again with major changes. fettel also plays totally different then point man, so while the levels might be similar, it feels like a totally different game.

Ehhh... I dunno. Gonna have to read a lot of impressions and reviews.

It's exactly the same levels and story. There's no new bits, just different gameplay with Fettel (which is much faster than Point Man). It's basically like a fun variant on New Game + rather than a wholly distinct campaign.
