That happens from time to time with me. It's a notorious bug. I'm using Firefox. When it happens, I just post the status update in Internet Explorer instead and the thumbnail preview happens to work. But it's kinda random.JaseC said:Is it just me or are thumbnail previews no longer attached to videos (video URLs pasted into the status update text box, at least)?

This exists? Any link? And is it just for Chrome?Marius_ said:Anyone have a link to the chrome extension that tells you who deleted you
In my (limited) experience I find the thumbnail previews for anything take a while to show up. As in I hit post without the thumbnail then check the page later and its there.JaseC said:Is it just me or are thumbnail previews no longer attached to videos (video URLs pasted into the status update text box, at least)?
PantherLotus said:Yes. Click on the picture in question. Look for the option -- on the bottom right, I think -- that says "remove tag." This will also remove the image from your "photos of BeeDog" as well as those little square thumbnails at the top of your regular page.
On a tagged picture no unless the person who tagged you limits who sees it.BeeDog said:Maybe I'm misreading you, but I think you misunderstood me. I don't want to remove my tag on a picture, I want to limit certain people from viewing ALL my pictures. Is that possible?

Does a Facebook tracking program exist?
By tracking program I mean an app or something that tells you who visits your page. I thought the whole point of facebook was there was no way to track who visits your page.
My friends of friends in Korea have rankings of top visitors to their page and stats like male/female visitors.
That is called the ticker if I'm not mistaken (given how most of the UK had a heart attack over the lists and the new news feed in like 2 days of each other I think Facebook is holding anything else back from us). I think posts set to friends of friends is can cause posts from people you don't know showing up but yeah I've heard its a bit obnoxious and intrusive in the way you describe. Is there any way to control what friends it shows on your list to the right of the screen? I have my regular friends that i have contact with. And then some random people who i never even chatted or commented on their wall.
How does it decide who is there or not?
It used to be in the crap days when profiles had apps running on them there were certainly some like that but I think the ones you describe are more like who likes your post the most kind of things.By tracking program I mean an app or something that tells you who visits your page. No, its definitely visits not posts. When is timeline supposed to be rolled out?
At this point, I don't really even care. Facebook's changes have never bothered me and in most cases they've been quite positive, but this new profile layout feels like a misfire in terms of overall implementation and timing. I know for a while people were saying that it depended on what part of the country you were in (or something to that effect) but I know people just down the street who are on the same ISP as me who got the timeline months ago, and yet I've never seen a single new thing, from the ticker to timeline to different chat... It's just weird.
They may want someone who isn't their friend to see the status.I don't understand the friends I have that do PUBLIC on their status updates. I never reply to any of them, because I don't want my response to be public as well. It's so weird. Get a twitter account or something.

You could just set the post view setting to person X only rather than tagging them.
Why don't I see ticker on my account?
Ticker only shows up for people with a certain level of account activity. If you don't see ticker, it's probably because you don't use Facebook a lot, so there's not enough content to make ticker useful to you.
Depends on where you live.Seems like Timeline is (finally) officially released.
Oh well in the U.S at least. Oh and New Zealand got it first than anyone.Depends on where you live.

i'm in Cali as well. It rolls out so not everyone gets it at the same time. The same thing happened with the ticker. If you uploaded the pic, yes. If you didnt no, youll have to untag yourself.
If tis your picture, click it, then below it, it says "shared with friends" (or what your default setting is).
Then click edit, and custom, and you can create a list of certain people.
Not here it hasnt (California)
Seems like Timeline is (finally) officially released.
Anyone know the exact dimensions for the cover photo on Timeline?
