By the way does the FGC just hate Smash because it's popular, or because there aren't esoteric moves hidden behind lengthy button combos?
Why does Elena have blue hair? There are other tones in that palette which would have worked better.

edit: here's proof it would have worked. Brooke "Dodger" Lawson looks a lot like Elena, and she rocked blue hair for a while.

Hate is a strong word. Smash community are their own thing separaed from the rest o the FGC and support themsleves. The games are alien to the FGC and are considered party games and not fighters and since the creator himself reinforced it it kinda became a weird situation. The rest think is just a baby kids game with no depth and excetion is easy but don't know melle is one of the tightest most hardcore fighters out there.

Basically two things. One the plastic surgery thread. Its not too bad since generally I think I'm pretty lucky with looks but its hard not to wish you could be better
The other one is a lot more complicated. Basically it came up when Pau mentioned not going out with the other people she's with (though I guess it took awhile for me to think about that?) and its just my issues with socialization. I can communicate great with pretty much everyone but I just feel distant 90% of the time. I have only 2 friends I dont feel weird asking to hang out without a group thing and some of my other friends I've known since elementary school. I dont feel comfortable asking someone who I'm getting along well with to do something outside the context where we met and I dont feel comfortable accepting such a thing either. A lot of it makes sense of me being introverted and growing up in the country with protective parents but I think most people get over that.
I feel like I'm doing a bit better in this thread than I have in the past (actually playing games with people and kinda planning to get together with Pau) but still... I've had people I've told all my problems to and told all about my family and friends and everything say they still didn't feel like they knew me, and the weird thing is I know exactly what they mean. Well that part at least seems a bit too difficult to tackle but at the very least I'd like to change the way I automatically respond to enjoying myself with other people

Lots of the Smash/FGC drama was basically "Hatfield-McCoy" BS in the beginning that has turned into a meme in recent years. It didn't help that there was next to no overlap between the scenes either, so both sides always stuck with their own.

Apparently Daenerys was supposed to have purple eyes but Emilia Clarke couldn't stand wearing the contacts. (same with Daniel Radcliffe green/blue)
