Is there a reason why the original space stations in The 100 didn't colonize the moon? Like perhaps a safe landing or similar engineering problems? The moon has valuable resources and you could most likely extract hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen from stones to synthesize water and breathable air. But on the other hand we're talking about the very same people who flush others for petty crime, wasting air and biomass like it's abundant on the ark.
