No way NMS even remotely lives up to the hype. You have every ingredient in place for a disaster or at least be really underwhelming:
- Extremely, extremely ambitious concept being hardsold to us by a Peter Molyneux-esque pitchman
- Small dev studio with only "Danger Joe" for IOS under its belt
- Repeated delays (I am guilty of this one too but I'm not doing anything that ambitious + I'm a solo dev + I'm an idiot)

It's pretty great.
She also has a Zelda's Lullaby up, which is one of my all time favorite video game songs.

I'm still cautiously optimistic and whatever the final product will be is whatever it'll be.
I've eaten so much crow over the last two years with games that you just don't know anymore if a studio totally has it in them.
I originally didn't give a shit about Doom until I finally sat down and watched a quick look. I was so glad to be proven wrong.
(Same thing with Overwatch)
