Do you do hair cuts?

not yet but.. I could learn!

I'd be ok with this. I love having people do my hair.

hire me

I need help just cause I can't be objective.

hire me

I would be totally down to hire you as my personal stylist. After seeing your work of course. :p

Sameee.

I am an artist. I mostly do good work and if I do bad work I just make sure no one sees it. So if I do a shit job you just have to stay home. k?

I've done girls makeup and nails a couple times now and honestly I think I did a solid job :p

I did my GF's hair, now she wears it like that.
She said I should be a hair stylist... :p

you are a good nugget

Jesus fucking real estate Christ, how can anybody justify those prices?!
That's what we get for trying to live in Manhattan. :/

My parents pay for it and they think anything outside of Manhattan is the Bronx so they won't even let us look for cheaper places in the city.

Glad to be back! So a few things have happened since I was away. Not in order or anything. I finished INSIDE. Honestly what a great game, very well crafted. Highly recommended!

I had my birthday 2 days ago! But didn't get a chance to celebrate it which flows into the next thing.

My uncle passed away last Wednesday. I was at work and I got a call from my Mom telling me that I need to go to the hospital immediately because he doesn't have much time. I left work asap, it was a good thing my workplace was only a 25 minute walk away from the cancer centre that he was being treated at. When I got there I was the only one there outside of my uncles immediate family (son and wife). As soon as I got in the room and saw my uncles condition I got an anxiety attack. My throat went completely dry and I couldn't speak. He was still alive but barely.

My aunt told me to hold my uncles hand and start rubbing them in order to warm them. His hands were so so cold. He couldn't speak (although he tried), couldn't open his eyes. My aunt was getting phone calls from everybody, different family oversees. She would put the phone on speaker so he could hear their voices one last time.

My parents came a few hours later. As soon as I saw my mom come in the room I stood up. At this point I really wanted to run over to my mom and hug her and cry. But I stopped myself. I didn't want to make a scene. Over the next few hours his condition would get worse. But my uncle still clinched on to his life. He would swim in and out of consciousness.

Eventually more and more people came to give their final respect. And eventually he passed.

I don't know if he passed peacefully. He was on morphine during the time but he was clearly fighting for every breath he was taking.

Sorry to make this a live journal post. But often times death just becomes a statistic list. This was a person who lived with us at home and who I cared for about a year. I would go escort him to the cancer centre and come back with him before he was granted a lodge. It could be considered a waste of a day but I would do to do that again in a heartbeat. His battle was 4 years long and may he finally get to rest in peace.

I know Em recently posted her father and mother are also suffering from cancer and I hope by posting this I didn't put fear in these things. If you ever want to talk about it for support or anything, my inbox is open.

But seriously, go play INSIDE.

Sorry to hear that bug... :(

I still remember when my cousin's husband was on his deathbed due to cancer.
He looked so frail, I was told to say goodbye.

I kissed him on the head, and he passed that night.

He left behind 3 kids. :(

Sorry for your loss. :(

I had sort of a weird experience when my grandmother died years ago. She was elderly and in bed and my mom found her in the morning apparently gone. I looked at her and she seemed totally gone -- But I called 911 and the operator told me to administer chest compressions even though I said I thought she was already gone. Was surreal.

Anyway thanks for sharing the sad but touching story. I bought Inside but haven't played it yet.

Today has basically turned into the day I'm catching up with all (or most) of the people I care about. I'm okay with this.

I'll make my way to australia sooner or later bc I love australia

and then you must let me touch your hair

I will let you touch my hair. It is so soft and lovable.

Also I just derped chatting to a tinder guy. He sent me a photo of his chainsaw (part of the discussion) and I said 'yep that looks like a lawnmower' he's like 'that's a chainsaw' so to save face I said 'Is it. I'm sure it cuts grass too'

SMOOTH AS FUCK LISA

what kind of chainsaw has anything in common with a lawnmower? what is going on down there in australia?

and like i care if a chick knows what a chainsaw is! that's so far down my list of priorities it'd actually end up a positive somehow

edit: and why is he sending a picture of the chainsaw over a tinder meeting? the hell australia

Well obviously I know the difference but I paid a severe lack of attention while typing and wrote lawnmower instead.
He made a joke yesterday about taking me to his woodshed and I asked whether he was gonna murder me. Cut forward to today he said he was a bearded lady, escaped from the circus coz he's a murderer. Then he asked if I wanna see his chainsaw.
It's a running joke.

I wouldn't take women out to the shed! I take em to the bean bag, it's so much better. Sheds are generally awful. They're coarse and get everywhere
