If you don't mind found footage grave encounters 1 + 2 are a hoot.

If you want something extreme there is this French film called. Martyrs that fucked me up for days

I saw the Grave Encounters movies. I loved 1 but 2 dropped off for me towards the end.

Which reminds me, I still need to watch Trick r Treat.

I might add Dead Silence onto the list because it's my guilty pleasure of horror movies.

Back to the Future 3.

Eh...

Wow.

Is that JIF playing games with me or did the master pervs at Tecmo take the time and care to make her crotch/higher inner tights slightly darker than the rest of her body?

If so, I'm not sure if I should feel repugned or stand up and clap.

Oh man, got a growler of "Grabthar's Hammer" from Rock Bottom and just drank a pint. The ABV is apparently very high. I'm drunk now. I didn't plan on being drunk.

I love generic Hanz Zimmer. Luthor's theme (The Red Capes are Coming) is probably my favorite in the movie.

When he's inspired, Zimmer can be entertaining. Like The Lion King, Inception, Frost/Nixon or even Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End. But man, it feels like he's cranking out these recent superhero scores on complete auto-pilot.

(Of course, it's not his fault that producers and directors don't seem to want big, bold themes or the woodwind section in their films anymore, even if many of his older scores came to encourage this trend.)

I liked his scores on the Batman trilogy and Interstellar a lot

I've heard good things about Interstellar, although I haven't listened to it yet myself. I don't really like the Batman trilogy scores because while they serve their films okay, they're incredibly dull to listen to on album (with the exception of maybe the James Newton Howard cues on the first two films). It seems unfair to accuse them of being unbearably gloomy and samey when that's just what the films needed.

King of Pride Rock is still my favorite Hans Zimmer track.

REMEMBAAAAAH...

That's a great cue, for sure. Once it merges with the Elton John material, I get goosebumps.

Best film composer of the last fifty years. Certainly the finest technician (John Williams being in second place there) and a superb theme writer. He's missed.

The Dragonheart theme used to be next to the main score from Requiem for a Dream in the "that song you always hear but haven't seen the film that it's from" category.

That Warcraft though

I've written letters to my closest friends that will be emailed automatically a month after my death (or more accurately, a month after I don't respond to the website's queries to see if I'm still alive). It may sound morbid but I've been close enough to death enough times by this point to where it never hurts to be prepared.

When I die, I hope someone comes and clicks "submit reply" for me so that people can know I was trying to say something but got interrupted.

For some reason this reminded me of an article that I read a while back about Disneyland having problems with people attempting to scatter their loved ones' ashes on rides.

please come wipe all my internet histories

Before Jobbs died, his final words were "I left all of my porn...in ONE PIECE"

I don't want to see your porn stash.

no, that's your letter to your friends (in my joke)

I don't really look at porn anymore (only once in a while), I don't like the way women are portrayed and treated in the majority of it and I don't like making a mess in my living quarters. I beat off in the shower.
