I'm a truth teller, so don't force the issue. G Gundam was just a really weak series. And if somebody was looking to get into gundam its literally the last thing I would recommend, for reasons completely separate from the quality of the show in itself.

@ 1st bold: By telling them not to watch it? nah son.

@ 2nd bold: Honestly this is what you should have said in the first place since i believe G Gundam is not the best series to start off with due to how fucking out there it is (same thing with Gundam Wing imo). But its one of the versions i say to watch some time.

None at all. With those sales numbers, I doubt very much. Definitely not enough to force a change of staff or a significant departure from what they've already planned.

Why is Nobuteru Yuuki's art getting worse and worse with each passing year? This is his new illustration for the Escaflowne blu-ray box:

It recovered a bit, but I wouldn't say it ended particularly strong. The show lost momentum and focus and even when it went back to its original premise of fights over discounted food, it wasn't really that good. The first 6 episodes were decent, but after that the show never really bounced back. I wouldn't watch another season of it.

Spoken like a true wimpy dog.

Oh thank God the blue butterfly guy didn't die. He can continue to create chaos. And dammit Kagura, must you turn on the waterworks every five minutes? Not to mention stand still for so very long when the shit is currently hitting the fan? Relieved to know not everyone on the disposable team was killed off

Overall, pretty good show, but the emotional breakdowns really get tiresome/annoying early on

B-

In case you don't know, it's actually a prequel of the manga, so you can read that if you want more. Kind of underwhelming though.

You sir, have the correct attitude. *salute*. And while I felt the end was a tad rushed, overall I really enjoyed AnoHana. :)

The ending being rushed was a problem, for sure. What made it worse though was that they spent something like 9 episodes doing little to nothing only to quickly finish it. It almost felt like they were filling time, when no time needed filling, only to realize by the last episode "Crap, we need to finish this NOW"

oh my god what is wrong with your face
Think of the fun fun times that relationship would entail!

And so a formula is established. Not that I dislike episodic series where there's an episode-by-episode goal. The cast is very colourful and thus it should provide great comedy and insight into Ahiru and Mitho's characters.

Btw, Rue is majestic. <3

I'm glad others are watching Princess Tutu. It deserves your love.

oh god... i should rewatch tutu
its so batshit crazy

Yes, you fucking should! Dooooo it.

Lite Music Exclamation Mark 11: Drama? In my K-ON!? Teh shit?
I'm hoping the fever spreads around the school and starts a pandemic the likes only music can heal. It's like a Macross plot.

This is for cajunator:

HNNNNNGH fevers.

So guys, I just finished Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shirana.

I am this close to crying actual man tears.

It didnt make me cry, but I really enjoyed Ano Hana and I'm glad not everyone outright hates it.

You are forgetting all those times people who recommend School Days.

Still do! Required viewing!

Usagi Drop is the greatest original TV anime in years.

Its way up there. But mostly for the HNNNGH factor. Except the manga. fuck the manga.

OH DEAR GOD

After I accidentally stumbled upon that fanfiction of Poppo
having to rape all the Super Peace Busters to fulfill Menma's wish
, I just couldn't be
sad at the end of the show
anymore because that's all I would think about.

Uh-huh, and how does one do that?

GONZO sure tried hard to appeal to Americans, didn't they? Western setting, different character designs from the norm, OP/ED in English etc. Well, at least it's nice to have an aim.

Not really sure what to say about the show this early in, apart from to praise the voice acting, which has been pretty damn strong. That particular
action scene was executed pretty well, in places. I like how rough and improvised it seemed, which is pretty refreshing compared to the standard physics defying ballet that most shows treat us to. Of course, at the end physics seems to have gone out the window so I'll have to put a 'wait and see' on it.

Why is the voting thread for 2011 anime out already? 2011 isn't even over yet.

All the anime that came out this year are pretty much over now, with the likes of squid girl finish up in a few days, doesn't hurt to start the voting.

Although I do wonder why the likes of Mirai Nikki and Chihayafuru are in there when they could have an ass of a second half which could sway people's votes.

Well they have come out this year, so I can see why they'd be in there. Personally, however, I don't want to rank those shows until they are over, because who knows what will happen in the second half?

I'm voting for the half of Chihayafuru that aired in 2011, which is already more episodes than some of the other shows I voted for. Even if it takes a crazy nosedive next year, that won't change what I feel about what I've seen so far.

Hunter x Hunter 2011 ep 13

An entire recap episode that felt so pointless. Only thing that was good about it was the instrumental of Departure, the opening theme covering Killua's fight. Recap only strengthened my thought that Hisoka is nebulous, in being an antagonist or protagonist, and that Gon is strange for not having no negative thoughts on his father Ging. I can only hope Ging is some cool dude if he ever encounters him.
