"Kill all raiders" Fuck that type of quest, when the location is bigger than some games. >_>
I've been searching this fucking assembly plant for an hour now and it still doesn't finish the quest.

Edit: Also, a skull by a creatures name signifies a legendary creature, yes? If that's the case, and legendary creatures are supposed to drop special items, then I am 0 for about 7 on getting anything "special." Anybody else getting any unique drops? What's the drop rate like?

Legendary is an affix, I think, and the skull just means it's high above your level. Not sure though.

I'm sure this has been asked before but, on the subject of Shaun:

does his skin tone change depending on how you build your character? My fem survivor was somewhat bronze colored, and I noticed Shaun was as well

Couple of things. It runs fine on PS4 nothing that has distracted me so far. Game crashed once after entering a building after completing the quest for the minutemen. Luckily I got the sudden urge to save right before I opened the door so no progress lost.

Dogmeat seems to have been totally killed off in a sense. Went up to a rooftop, found nothing then head back to the door where he climbed up on the ledge and before it loaded the building, he yelped and was stuck on the door, both in and out of the building. Sent him back to the safehouse but I haven't seen him really. Oh well.

Only bugs that's annoy me are the wrong subtitles appearing and knowing if I can talk to someone or not. Like I get one response back and then try again and then I can ask them different things. Really weird.

Other than that, I'm really enjoying the game. The ghouls are fucking scary as fuck. Holy shit did they creep me out. Their movements are so disturbing and I think they have the best animations so far.

One question since I'm on my way home in an hour, is it possible to increase your gun movement speed? Seemed really slow and got me in bad situations a few times. I forgot to look last night before I went to sleep.

settlements...

SVBIodq.gif

Yes I'll do what I have to with them but I can't see myself putting a great deal of time into them.

Corpses despawn a lot faster now? I killed a power armored raider from a distance and when I went to check it out <10 mins later, it was nowhere to be found (and no, it didn't fall into a hole or anything like that, I saw the spot where the corpse collapsed). He was wielding a shoulder-wielded heavy weapon too, who knows what I missed out on. Kinda blows.

I didn't think I'd get into the Settlement aspect of the game, but it's quite intriguing, spent an hour just scrapping and building stuff in Sanctuary

Can someone help me finding my dog?
I sent him to Sanctuary and now I can not find him anymore. Where does he chill out usually?

Ten hours in and I haven't seen anything strange, at least on a technical level. It's been functioning essentially flawlessly as a piece of software so far, which is cool.

I've also yet to hit Diamond City, which is moderately terrifying from a time investment perspective. Not that I want there to be less to do in game, but with Battlefront a few days away I'm worried I'll get dragged away for too long and come back to Fallout once I've forgotten what I was doing.

Spent a good hour in the character creator only to forget to change my name (and not be prompted). Fucking INFURIATING.

You can change it a little later. The game will prompt you in like 30 minutes right before you head out into the wasteland. You can also change your SPECIAL

I think you can also do it during initial SPECIAL assignment.

God i fucking love V.A.T.S. Forgot how much i missed it, even if it is the less cooler slow-mo kind.

I prefer this new slow-mo version. It looks cooler and makes it a little more tense due to not being able to stop time and gather your thoughts. Puts a little pressure on you in some instances.

What companion you guys rolling with?

I've found the girl from the combat zone to be the most useful, and doesn't get mad at me for stealing stuff like Piper.

So the general ps4 performance seems to be pretty positive from everyone impressions. This is great can't wait to get off work and dive in.

Look into the V.A.N.S. perk.
Req. INT 1
The path to your closest quest target is displayed in V.A.T.S.

So if I stash stuff in the Workshop inventory in a settlement, can I only use it at that settlement? Or is it available at all settlements?

How do you leave a companion behind to use the lone wanderer perk. Do you just tell them to stay put and they will stay there even if you fast travel?

10 hours since I started this morning

please stop me, this isnt healthy

going back in after walking the dogs again :p

Anybody knows a place to find some .44 ammo? I'm in dire need. Really loving my low-strength, unarmed stealth build right now. Pretty sure Str itself doesn't affect unarmed damage just like in F3/NV, only melee. Teleporting next to enemies like a Diablo III monk, and punching them to stealthy death...T_T. So good.

Can you get critical hits if you don't use VATS?

Also, does your companion use ammo?
I don't think you can but not 100% sure. Your companion uses their own ammo.

You have to send them back to your safe home or just part ways.

As long as you activate a workshop, it's connect to all your supplies.
