Fallout 4 |OT2| Farming Simulator 2287

Nice! Any tips?

Dunno, I used the same strategy as everyone else, but you don't need to be at your settlement as long as everything set up right. I just did 17 Tier 3 Clinics with a settler assigned to each one. 21 Mutfruit plants with 4 assigned farming. Tons of paintings, TVs (have to be powered), radios, all the beds were inside. Defense was around 180. Lots of statues all over the settlement.

Sadly it just takes a lot of resources and time.

Did it in Sanctuary but sent all my companions away except Codsworth since I couldn't send him anywhere else. You can get Mamma Murphy out of her chair by shooting her and then dismantling the chair before she gets back in it. Then you can assign her.

From what are Deathclaws even mutated from?
Or are they man made?
Supposedly

if one youtube fallout history channel is to be believed. They also supposedly had human level intelligence but were nerfed.

Can someone explain to me how I have TWO complete sets of X-01 armor but not a single right leg?

I can't wear an incomplete set of armor so both of them are sitting in my garage until I get a damn leg...

Just spent 30 minutes at the start of
The Molecular Level
.

The two parts that were supposed to connect, wouldn't connect. I had to keep storing the parts and rebuilding them until they would finally connect (took about 5 attempts)

Just so I can get an idea of where I am in the main quest, I just finished
hunting the Courser and I now need to decide which faction to get help from.
How far into the main quest am I? Spoiler free answer plz.

Dude you are going to places where brotherhood soldiers went and were never heard from alive again..how is that for story context? They even let you get quests from two other npc's the whole while..

You're going after them, to find out what happened, yes. It's not a revenge mission. Putting the tape there is the perfect setup for different playstyles, and it's a dissapointment when Bethesda doesn't put in that effort.

Still not sure why you're being so overly defensive about this, and that one shouldn't be allowed opinions about quest design, but whatever. As said before, the weird difficulty spike in this particular quest at that particular point is my concern with this.

That's all.

So I've lost my Big Boy I got from Arturo. I know I stored it some where but have no idea. Is it possible to get another one from somewhere or does the MIRV launcher do the same thing?

Finally got a hard crash after about 5 straight hours of play, somewhere around 25 hours in, on PS4. Performance suddenly tanked out of nowhere, got real choppy, then I went to loot a Super Mutant thinking, "I'd better restart the game I guess", and bam, crash report screen.

Game just corrupted all my saves.

All my saves. The autos, the quicksaves and the manual ones.

That's 120something hours gone. Only save left is the weird one the game creates when you confirm your character on leaving the vault.

Sigh.

It corrupts the cloud saves?
edit: probably pc, so never mind.

The MIRV mod can be installed on any Fat Man, but if you put it on Big Boy it will shoot two clusters of 8 mininukes, for a total of 16.

If you stored it in a settlement's workbench, it's possible one of your settlers might be using it. Other than that, just keep looking around in every place you might have stashed it.

Does anyone know if you can get to the top of this building? It's in Northeast Boston near Monsignor Plaza and a bunch of raiders were nearby. There was a raider on top with a plasma rifle that I want, and in general I've noticed if a raider can get there I can too.

Other random questions:
How do I get 5.3 sneak attack criticals?
I saw a streamer that could Stealth Boy cloak in and out at the touch of a button. Is the Chinese Stealth Suit back?

What the... How does that even happen? I think I am going to make some manual backups now just to be safe...

No idea. Exited game, rebooted pc, game back on, every save is present but corrupt according to the game.

You have any mods installed? Use any console commands on anything? Hard drive otherwise ok? I scared now haha.

Hard drive is fine, folder is fine, files are there. I have 1 mod installed that increases legendary occurrence rate, but I lost saves that I had from before the mod even.

Meh. Guess I start again and use console commands to boost me back to 62.

People should stop referencing data that makes me feel uncomfortable because games get ported to platforms I don't like
So I decided to upgrade my PS4 Hard Drive yesterday but the problem is that I forgot to upload my recent saves from Fallout 4 to the cloud before I formated the old drive so there goes 52 hours down the drain.

Oh well I had to start over but this time to mix things up I'm going to focus on using Rifles instead on Handguns,I'm going to focus on Energy Weapons and I'm ditching the Sneak Build.

On the bright side that Drinking Buddy Quest didn't get bugged this time and I was able to finish it.

Just found a Combat Rifle that shoots two projectiles every time, with max stealth multiplier, I one shot everything even on survivor, super op.

Can you not put your old Hard Drive on a PC and move your save to a usb?

There were smart ones in Fallout 2, you could have one as a companion. I keep hoping for the day we get a deathclaw companion again.

What jacket are you wearing? Where'd you pick it up? Looks great for my character!

Was it a .esp/.esm/.bsa mod? Back in Fo3, F:NV and Skyrim I remember people making .esp/.esm/.bsa mods with really hacky tools before the official toolkit from Bethesda was out and it corrupted save files heavily, a lot completely randomly.

Ok, so can someone explain everything that affects weapon damage? I've started coming across more powerful weapons in the game, like the combat rifle and combat shotguns, but I'm still seeing posters here that have weapons that do tons more damage. Is it purely perks + weapon mods or does your level and SPECIAL affect damage at all? I guess there's also a lot of books and bobbleheads that I haven't found too.

The best way to increase damage is by modding the weapon. From there, the rifleman/commando perks, the bloody mess perk, and finding double shit legendaries will also boost damage.

How do I tell if a settlement is under attack? Where is the notification? One time I teleported to the red rocket base and I saw these mutants literally metirialized out of nothingness on the outskirts, in a walking animation towards the base, I engaged and killed of course, but this is confusing. If you build walls around your base do the try anyway? Do the get dropped inside anyway?
