Wasn't really into the poker chips or making of which I can catch on YouTube but I'd like to give them some money for making something cool.

I have the exact same specs and get 50-60fps with 4xAA @ 1080p most of the time. I was getting the same performance as you until I used the D3D9 fix:Septimus said:Is it possible for me to get a smooth 60fps at 1080p on this game with a 5770? I get around 40 to 50 and then around 30 when a NPC is around. Rest of the specs are core i5-750 quad, 4gb ddr3 ram.
I don't have anything useful to offer numberwise, but you are definitely going to hit 30 before doing everything. If I'm forced to give a number, perhaps around the time you've done 75% of the side/main quests and not much "pointless" wandering.Ledsen said:I have a question for those who have reached max level or gotten very close:
How much of the wasteland have you explored? How many hours have you played? What level are you? I want to do every single sidequest if I can, and explore every location, all in a single playthrough. What I want to know is if I'll hit the exp ceiling long before I finish, because if so, I'll want to use a "less exp" mod.

Snuggler said:Argh, I'm doing the quest at Helios One and theres bots everywhere. I have no problems killing organic enemies, but my weapons are pretty much useless against them, I'm forced to just run like a bitch from them.
Is there any way to shut them down or am I screwed for not bothering with energy weapons?

Yeah... I got to the end andSub_Level said:For all of you guys with a high Energy and/or high Science skills, be sure to check out REPCONN HQ. I won't spoil what you'll find, but let's just say that area is suited to your specialties.
Snuggler said:Thanks. I actually made it to my destination despite being shot by 10 robots at the same time but it turns out I need one piece of scrap metal and somehow I don't have one and there weren't any in the room. Dammit! It sucks that that junk is everywhere except for the one time you need it.
Almyn said:I was just doing this quest last night, And must have ran into a bug or something. I put on the gangs uniform and talked to the guard on the gate. I gave him the 100 caps he wanted to look the other way, But he would always attack me about 2 seconds later as I approached the door. I just gave up in the end. I had thought I was doing something wrong, But I guess not

No spoil please just yes or no:
About the Thing at the Top of the Tops casino and about the boomers:Please answer me without spoiling anything.Does saying to Benny's robot that they're my allies make them his allies?
I talked to the ambassador about them before I did to the robot.
I want to be with the NRC so I don't want to have them on his side.

You know that old lady at the scrap yard with the dogs? So I was at a location on the other side of the map, I leave a building and all of a sudden her dogs are there and they're attacking me. There was a couple mole rats two, like 5 animals coming at me at once. And it was making this weird noising that sounded like the metal barrels when you knock them over.
Maybe that was a Wild Wasteland moment.
Easiest place is the Silver Rush in Freeside. Just drag whatever weapon you want to a corner, Sneak, then steal it. :lol Or get a stealthboy.darkjedi187 said:Seems a bit disappointing the feedback about energy weapons. I rolled an energy weapon character to start and haven't gotten any good energy weapon that does decent damage. Any suggestions were to find one?
Restrooms and enemies, along with merchants... steal from every first aid box you see as well. You shouldn't need to use them outside of battle, though. Pay caps to doctors or use food to heal up. Sarsaparillas are pretty great. Also, where the fuck can I buy Stimpacks? I've gone to every major location, as well as the doctor in the first town, and any traders I can find and I got two in total. That doesn't even recover my health fully! I'm finding it hard now just because I never have health. Some pointers on where to find them would be appreciated!

I'm okay with not having them, as I'd rather be a lone wanderer, I just thought it's quite funny since it's a big focus on the game and I haven't encountered it. I guess that speaks volumes about the amount of content within the game - I've done a lot of missions, so clearly there's still a heap of stuff left to do!kyo_daikun said:Think im about 10 hours in, level 13 and ive found 3 companions, look harder! :lol
I've been searching the dead and not finding any. i just like how there are two sets of dialog for the New Vegas stuff. The one with the Securitron at the Strip entrance is hilarious (need 90 Science).
