The system is far from perfect but some times it works beautifully. For example, wanted to get access to some of the restricted areas of the deluxe casino. So i sneaked in to the kitchen and grabbed a knife, took care of the guard and took his outfit. Then i was able to roam around the areas freely. Worked almost like a Hitman game, the illusion falls apart though because the guards don't detect the bodies on the floor, so there's no need to hide them.

I wasn't waiting for the GotY edition but I haven't played any of the DLC yet either still. I've been buying it - when it's been on sale on Steam anyway - but now that the Bozar is for sure in I'm not doing any of them until they're all out. I actually don't even want to play another minute of this game's content until the Bozar is in my hands.

Oh, man, i'm right there with ya. I feel so blue this is being the last DLC, the last bit of Fallout touched by the hand of Obsidian. That trailer was so meta. The roads sure are lonesome for us Black Isle devotees.

Does anyone have problems with the terminals. Every time when I re-hack without the special perk, I can't skip the incoming messages with the mouse clicks before the encrypted words appear. I mean in Fallout 3 didn't have any problems where I could skip that with the clicks very easy. Is there a way to fix this ?! It gives that annoying feeling of waiting that second or even two before I start hacking.

I find myself "roleplaying" alot, in any other RPG I would go straight for the best weapons and armor but in this one I search for cloth and specific apparel that match my play style.

Also, can't stop playing - love exploring.

I noticed that myself. I thought it was intentional, like some penalty for bailing out and retrying.

It's intentional, it's to stop people just clicking 3 random words then backing out and retrying.

Style over substance! I've always preferred to look good rather than wear stuff that offers the most protection.

Like these two seconds will mean real two minutes waiting penalty for getting me to those words. At some time I will enter into the system, so I don't see any point in this. Yeah, maybe if they came up with some bright idea giving at least some comfort I could accept it with no problem. This is a game where real time doesn't exist, in the meantime, in the real-time I want to enjoy the game to its full moments having freedom choice even for this kind of moment, to skip some content, where now I'm being obligate to wait for this two seconds of nothing, just wasting my real time, when this text doesn't have any personal means to me.

Gosh, I'm glad they haven't made up with the idea to be obligated to read and listen to every conversation in the entire without having the freedom to skip their dialogues. >_>
Now I have to get used with this, although I haven't got used even at this moment.

I've always put all my extra stuff in my hotel room in Novac. You get it for finishing Boone's initial quest. I think? It's been a while.

Ah okay, that makes sense.

Looks like I ran into my first bug today. Made it through 50 hours without one, but my streak is over. I think. I'm doing the Aba Daba Honeymoon quest for the Great Khans drug dealer (Diane I think) and the final step is to deliver some to Motor-Runner in Vault 3, but I can't start up any dialogue with him. Apparently this can happen if you've already finished Still in the Dark for whatever reason. Ah well.

Are you playing it on PC? the game crashes at least once every two hours for me.

The one major bug I ran in to was that I was unable to deliver some package to Hildern from the Crimson Caravan, locking me out of two other quests and a companion. This could be bypassed with a simple console command however.

Luckily it's a pretty minor quest.

Completed the game today. Took me 55 hours w/ DLC apparently.
I noticed the credit mentioned Dead Money as "Dead Monkey" on several occasions - what's up with that? :d

I run out in a few problems. bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 doesn't work on New Vegas, my mods just won't load or remain checked. Fallout Mod Mananger crashes when I check the new mods. I don't know what to do now.
In Fallout 3 bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 worked.

Nevermind, I manage to find the real file to remain unchecked. MyDocuments/MyGames/New Vegas didn't work, Fallout_Default, didn't work, but some hidden file in Application folder manage to work :/ Thank god to google.

Replaying Fallout 2 right now. I'm about to finish New Vegas's main quest, so I'm not touching the game until Lonesome Road comes. So damn hyped.

Shit.. my "one save, no going back" playthrough might have bitten me in the ass. I was doing the How Little We Know quest and thought I could sneak around the restricted areas before making a decision, even if I remained undetected through out the Gomorrah thugs still turn hostile when I show myself in the public areas..

EDIT: Problem solved, ResetQuest 001164BF and ResetQuest 0010C721.. phew.

almost done with all the dlc. old world blues is already wayy better than honest hearts and dead money. still love the game, but.... I.HATE.THE.PC.LAUNCHER. i have to press play at least 10 times until it launches without a crash. looking around, seems like a common problem with no solution. i'm sure it's more annoying for my friends list see it pop up 10-15 times everytime i want to play.

I really wish I had read the comic book before playing, I felt kind of lost the first couple of hours.

I'm going through Dead Money right now, I think I've done everything I can up to the final quests (at least I think they are the final ones: For the Republic 2, Wild Card, House Always Wins etc).
