But yes, whole story seems sketchy.

That's a known grifter account, so this is likely a bait piece.

If someone was deported, why would they not be able to work on a mod? Makes absolutely no sense. Mexico has internet, and doesn't have strict internet policies or something as far as I know. Maybe the dev just wanted an excuse to can it, lol.
Are you fucking kidding me? The bit you question is that being deported wouldn't stop work on a free mod. What the fuck do you think being deported means, a leisurely relocation to another country with all of your possessions neatly transported along side you?

That is so ignorant. It is flabbergasting how trivial you people thing the shit you wish on people is.

I didn't wish the guy was deported or something, lmao. No reason to "you people" me. I wasn't even looking into it THAT deeply considering this Twitter account is know to post BS all the time. That's the biggest takeaway here, and it all seems/sounds sketch. Regardless, a person's wellbeing should come first, always should be that way. If it's true, that sucks, and that's awful. No questions asked. I was just hoping that with his life change, if it's something he wants to do, he can still do it. Online back ups and all. I'm well aware of what deporting means and how it works. Personally I'm against all of that, but that's neither here nor there. Apologies for that coming out in a way that could be perceived as something that could offend you, certainly not intentional.

Seems a little suss. The project posted only a few days ago that they were closing down due to financial/time burdens etc. This shit reads like something from an episode of South Park.

Not sure if it's real or not. Not sure if I care. The tweets from the hunting party doing the reporting, the tweets from the mod gangsta, people citing law and order and showing Trump's pic - this whole thing is fucking comedy gold. Ice Ice baby is even the cherry on top.

Just a thought… when there are Law Enforcement Agents at your door with weapons…. GET OFF THE FUCKING COMPUTER AND ANSWER THE DOOR!

What the hell is wrong with people. No wonder cops are tigger happy whenever they have to serve a warrant or investigate. Everyone has a gun, average populace is full of morons and then people scream about police brutality. 🤬😡

Edit: The whole thing would make a lot more sense if it’s fake.

That'd almost be like watching Anne Frank writing in her diary in real-time.

The sad part is that this isn't even meant as a joke.

Kind of. The big difference being that Anne Frank getting caught essentially means she is dead, whereas this dude getting caught means he is sent home.

looks interesting

I never even heard of this, it looks so good and knowing that all this work is sitting unfinished on a computer that's probably locked up in some government warehouse where it's gonna rot away is unbelievably sad. People are so damn petty 😢. At least let him finish the mod if you gonna report him FFS.

That and the guy who supposedly called ICE on him openly bragging about it... that does´nt sound like something somebody would do. Sounds more like what a woke SJW from Resetera would think a right wing guy would do.

Look at the comments, many people are happy.

I've seen people in social media asking how to report and all of that.

Somebody commits a crime, gets punished. Nobody would be shocked if they heard that. It's only because over the years people have been gaslighted into thinking entering a country illegally is not a crime. It used to be illegal immigrants, then it was undocumented immigrants and I just read today unauthorized persons.

In what country do you live in where suspects are not apprehended first and then judged later?
Suspect of what? something some rando said? The burden of proof is on the accuser, you can't just haul someone in because of hearsay and then require them to prove their innocence.
