neopokekun said:You could scream into the microphone to kill the Pols Voice enemies in Legend of Zelda and make the shop keeper in Kid Icarus lower the prices (in the western version you had to press A & B on the second controller).

I'm glad that in most of the DS games you just simply blow into the microphone. In one level of Feel the Magic, in which you're supposed to scream to get the girls attention... I turned the volume up on my ipod and put a headphone to the microphone.neopokekun said:You could scream into the microphone to kill the Pols Voice enemies in Legend of Zelda and make the shop keeper in Kid Icarus lower the prices (in the western version you had to press A & B on the second controller).

CVXFREAK said:You know, I wonder if Nintendo'll include two extra faceplates. If so, a Controller II one is given. Someone make a faceplate photoshop of the AV Famicom and see what you get.
Tempy said:So where's the deluge of face plates to buy?
jgkspsx said:Any new information on this at all? It's allegedly out in a week... I'd really like to know about any faceplates it might come with and (yes I'm a sucker) whether the packaging is in the same style as the JP packaging.
sonarrat said:It comes out on the 28th, actually..
Embargoed?Kobun Heat said:I officially touched it and saw the final packaging.
Uh, no. No packaging embargo. It was a red and white box. No see-through window, just a pic of the system and the 20th anniversary Mario logo on the front.jgkspsx said:Embargoed?((
If not, please tell us whether it's as crappy as the normal micro packaging.
So... more or less the same packaging as Japan, no additional faceplates, I'm guessing?Kobun Heat said:It was a red and white box. No see-through window, just a pic of the system and the 20th anniversary Mario logo on the front.
Baron said:I haven't been able to find any official confirmation of the Famicom Micro's USA release. Can someone post a link...? And I'm not talking about the GA write-up. There is nothing official in that. As far as I can see this whole thing is pure conjecture.
Many of those, if not most, are out of print -- some very long out of print -- and the classic NES games are being sold for less than $10 almost everywhere. Also, some third party games in there. Weird.Nintendo said:Advance Wars 1 & 2

There are still copies out there that include the wireless adaptor. More copies than Super Mario Advance, at least.CVXFREAK said:
jgkspsx said:Anyone seen this in a store yet? IGN has photos of the packaging up. What a debacle. It's nice they released it at all, I suppose, but it's really a bizarre implementation.
I'm very glad that Nintendo delayed this. Otherwise, I might not have snapped out of it in time. Hopefully the metal construction means I'll be able to get a nice used one for $50 in a year or two.

Yes, I'm buying the GBA for the third time.
It's just so darn cute.
White GBA, NES SP, Famicom Micro. Nice little thing going on there.
