The timing of it made zero fucking sense. If Rollins wanted to be on the top of the mountain alone he should have betrayed them before/during their feud with Evolution. He straight up betrayed The Shield to side with the weaker group.

Even if the timing was off, The Shield breakup made sense from Rollin's POV. He wanted more and in order to do that he had to turn on his brothers and join the authority. In the end, it paid off.
Roman and Dean on the other hand is a different story. They somewhat dissolved into the on again off again bro-mance we have today and Roman still reminisces about the good times with his entrance music, entrance and attire while Dean seems to have moved on more.

True and the WWE only had plans for the Shield trio. Bray had momentum but after Cena It was for nothing.

Wyatts were pretty cold by that point. Bray had just had a pretty cold feud with Jericho, and had been gone from TV for a month and missing a PPV.

Eh, not really. It only worked out because they basically pretended The Shield beating HHH and Evolution didn't happen. Very little of Rollins' ascension to the top couldn't have been accomplished with The Shield as well. In fact The Shield probably would have protected him better than J&J Security and The Authority.
Hence why it's best not to invest in full shows and just read results to decide what's worth seeking out. Really, it usually is just 30% or so that's truly good-to-great in many cases.

It would have led to descension in The SHIELD. Just like it did before Elimination Chamber. Bickering like children on who would have won that EC match if they'd gotten in. It took the threat of the Wyatts to get them back on track.
And that would have been a much more logical way to dissolve The Shield instead of Rollins defecting to a faction that he literally just proved was weaker 24 hours prior.
Remember when Triple H won the IC Title from Marc Mero using Mr. Perfect to trick Mero into a title match that he eventually won when Perfect turned on Mero?
Why can't we have good stories like that? You kind of question Perfect siding with Mero before the turn, but when he turns on him in favor of H it all makes sense being a long con.
I just watched that episode of Raw that featured more story telling in an hour than they accomplished in a 3 hour PPV.

Brock 11 times out of 10. I love Pentagon though.
Make it Brock vs Mil, that would be the right match up.
Right now in WWE it's 9.5 times out of 10 they are shitty.
so i'm thinking
reigns vs hhh, cena as the guest ref. reigns has rock and austin in his corner, hhh has shawn michaels and vince in his corner.
the match breaks down, cena gives hhh a AA, rock gives a rock bottom, austin a stunner, and finally reigns delivers a spear for the 1-2-3. that oughta get roman some cheers.
the match is over, and rock, austin and cena raise reigns' hand. hunter is pissed, but damn it, reigns has earned his respect, along with the respect of the heart break kid. both men hug and embrace reigns.
the show goes off the air with rock, austin, hhh, cena and shawn michaels applauding the new member of sports entertainment mount Rushmore, Romanian reigns.

Hadn't Batista left by that point? Meaning that Rollins wasn't joining Evo, he was joining the authority. It was also during the build up to MITB which probably means Hunter guaranteed Rollins the win if he bought in.
