February Wrasslin' |OT2| Where TNA Careers Never Existed

That's not a fair comparison. AJ generally kept putting out good performances and stayed in great shape, Joe hasn't given a shit outside of a couple matches in years.

Same with Joe. They both have had the same match since 2008 or so. Really have not gave a fuck. That all changed for AJ when he left TNA. Dood revitalized his career. I wonder if Joe can do the same.

I don't have a huge problem with some WWE reprogramming, since the schedule is brutal and some guys could stand to cut out some of the shit they did to get a pop at a gymnasium for 50 bucks.

Hulk Hogan in TNA was pretty much the end of Joe's career. At least that's how I remember it.

He was champ and gonna do all these great things and then poof, he was a nobody.

It is a fair comparison. AJ has been phoning it in since 2008. I shit all over him when he went to NJPW because he had destroyed what little merit he had by being involved in dull matches in the same promotion Joe was in. Joe has always performed the same regardless of his size. Joe had better, longer matches in ROH than when he worked under Hashimoto when he was much slimmer. If a worker hates his place of work or if he's not given room to perform, he's always going to have shitty matches.

2008 is a super stretch. He's only shown signs of unhappiness with TNA when Hogan and company came in and even past then hes had a number of good matches. Last year or so of his TNA run I'd agree but to say since 2008 is crazy.

AJ was champ when Hogan came in. Was supposedly finally going to get a long reign with the belt but than Hogan/Bischoff came in, made him Flair junior and made all the TNA guys look like shit.

Totally missed that Joe left TNA. Now I get the whole "Joe should go to NXT" talk.

I only saw the tail end of his TNA career. I liked him, shame they didn't use him better.

everyone did almost nothing but shit on AJ and his gay community the last few years in TNA from what i remember reading.

Joe, well,

but comic book guy owens made it, maybe he can too

TNA and most of the wrestlers generally get approached with nothing but apathy. A large part of that is deserved with how TNA handles booking but I think a lot of talent gets overly criticized due to association. The TNA shows suck from a creative standpoint but people have continued to have great matches in the promotion.

Talking about guys who wouldn't work in WWE,

Aside from his career in porn, AR Fox would never work in WWE. He would have to change his entire move set as 4/5 of it is designed to look like he's suicidal.

I still can't believe TNA gave Chris Sabin their main title. That's not even flea market champion. That's salvation army champion.

It was a 'Thanks for giving a decade of your life and both your knees' title reign though.

I like how everyone fucking cashed in on Bully Ray too

MAYBE a PWG appearance or ROH appearance, but I can't see ROH putting a major focus on a returning Samoa Joe.

If Joe was willing to work multiple dates for what ROH pays they would make him one of the top guys in the company. Given their finances, he'd probably more like Alberto and work a few dates and then put one of their guys over on PPV

Samoa Joe is leaving TNA? Whoa. Any chance of him going back to ROH? Would be rad. Maybe even make it for the Anniversary show as an end-of-PPV surprise.

I really liked the stealth base sequences. Everything else was pretty dull.

It was a typical Ubisoft bar-filling simulator.

Speaking of Ubisoft, I recently went back to Assassins Creed 2, because I remember really enjoying it back in 2009. Man, after all of the rehashes and iterations of its formula, it hasn't aged well at all. It fucking sucks, essentially.

Don't buy Canadian developed games. Stick with American and Japanese.

Words to live by. Fucking Owens, representing that scumbag company. Especially scummy when their boring-ass design philosophies seep into other games that could've been so much better, like Dragon Age Inquisition.

I hope the next Ubisoft game doesn't do that (find top of tower and satellite to see most of the area) bullshit. It's time to retire that dumb trademark.

fave five Canadian game devs
1. Blackbox
2. uhhh
3. ummm
4. hmmm
5. ummm

Ubisoft Montreal was good when they were making Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. Rockstar Vancouver made Bully and Max Payne 3, which is pure TMF distilled into videogame form. But that's about it.

I'm afraid I've got some...BAD NEWS

What was that 360 game where you were a superpowered cop and had full run of a open world GTA style city to fight crime? The name slips my mind, but that is close.

Crackdown. I instantly thought of that for a GTA Robocop game but figured someone else would say it first
