Daniel Bryan has been the same character as long as Sheamus. He's still the AJ No/Hell No character who whines about not getting fair shots. He's just cheered now instead of booed because he's booked against heels rather than faces. Or because the Bryan fans will try their hardest to prevent people from cheerign whoever they like.

Yeah, that's not true.

In the period from the Rumble Sheamus won Bryan has been a Vegan Cocky Heel, a bitter heel ex-champ, a tweener with an angry problem, a comedy face with an inferiority complex, an underdog wrestler that "the man" didn't want to see as champion and now the guy that wanted to prove he could go to Mania again.

It's one thing if you don't like Bryan or he is annoying or whatever. But he did tons of different shit and characters in the last 3 years. And while they might share similarities (like he was always a submission specialist) he also played tons of different roles.

When he stops improving I'll so pointing out that he's still improving. He's coming along steadily. Not quickly enough to be worthy of the wrestlemania main event next month, and I will continue to stress that. But I don't see how people can be sure he won't get there. He got the look. He had some raw charisma that we've started to see refined in this Bryan feud. He's certainly got the right genes for wrestling too (and in thirty years don't be surprised when the companies top face is one of Jon and Trinity's kids).

I've been watching him improve since he went solo. It's been steady. Give him some more time before shitting on him.

If anything we should feel sorry for him. Look at how good Sheamus had become in the ring and imagine where the could have been if their let him just gradually grow into a character.

'Cist. Also, I'm looking forward to Roman's battle against his Samoan fat genes as the years go by. No enough vests in the world to cover that up.

Watching an IWA-MS show that Bronson probably filmed, featuring a tournament with these goobers;

A free cookie and indie cred to anyone who can name more than four of them.

roman should have done a Tanahashi style promo last night

Bryan, Bryan you think you are worthy of the main event, just like your fans your a whiny little bitch

Balee that!

The Bushwhackers? Fugging really?

I mean, they were a memorable team, but for them to be in before Demolition absolutely sickens me. Add another to the James Dudley/Koko B. Ware wing of the HoF.

Fuck, all I can manage is

...and he doesnt get fair shots

Which is part of his appeal. I think giving him "fair" shots would actually weaken his mass appeal dramatically. He needs to keep being screwed more than he is given shots.

A lot of people agree that he can get there. The problem is the push is now and it's being made at the expense of wrestlers that people like more. How hard is to get that?

I think the more accurate statement is "made at the expense of a specific wrestler that the hardcore fanbase likes more". Even Meltzer and MetsFan have said that Reigns won Superstar of the Year legitimately. Lot of less hardcore fans like Reigns a lot.

To be honest, Bryan has been helped by creative far, far more than Reigns ever has been. Imagine if Bryan had been stuck wrestling Kane and the Big Show repeatedly during his rise instead of the super-over and super hated Shield. Honestly, Reigns' booking has dispelled any myths that WWE was trying to sabotage Ziggler & Bryan with bad booking - WWE can't even book the guy they WANT to get over well. Definitely far more aligned with incompetence instead of malice.

Not at all. I said I felt the same thing a few pages back. It's not something we should blame Roman for though, of course. Not that that's stopping people getting mad at him for not turning down a push.

You are this to them:

Vince said:
It really was a gesture by some of local minority in terms of not liking the creative. Santa Claus didn't come for that pay-per-view. And so that's really what that was for them, but it's like someone who watches our television show thinks about nature and the many faces does not win and they say, "I'm never going to watch this ever again." Well, I know that person is going to be glued to the television next week. It's the same here.

It's actually last December! That's just what Elgin looks like now.

What the fuck. Jesus christ. I forgot he removed the mullet but he looks like a baby there. Ugh.

Man, burn all your IWA MS tapes.

THE BLUE CHIPPER (if you describe a worker as a blue chipper, they're ass)

I'll always remember Xavier/Walters feud because Xavier came out during a Boston ROH show to shit on the Red Sox, then Walters 've out and basically said 'Booing the Red Sox is cheap heat and lame' like a goddamn oaf

Yup, that makes five. The others are Reed Bentley (top left), Dale Patricks (bottom left) and Shane Mercer (bottom right).

I remember clowning Gary the Barn Owl and the Submission Squad when they showed up at Chikara's King of Trios and had a shitastic match. Every report about how great they are now astounds me.

I watched a WCW dark match with Super Dragon and Blitzkrieg tagging in it.

Highly entertaining for the spectacle of it. PWG could have been WCW's ROH. Thus they would have won the War in the long run.

Does he actually believe that lol

In the past even if people didn't like the main event picture there was often something in the undercard to make people watch, but this year there is nothing. It has to be one of the all time worst cards in mania history. They haven't built up any decent feuds and most of the match ups are zzzzzzzzzzzz

Man I get Jojo Bravo and Gary Jay in the same day in here and mention of the Hooligans vs Zero Gravity? You all secretly love St. Louis Anarchy don't you......don't you......crickets....

It made enough money, I'd love another. Adapt The Run with the existing characters!

Xavier's crazy jump Arabian was cool..and Allison Danger trying to harass Alexis Laree was cool I guess?

I did enjoy when he made a surprise return at a Final Battle for a opening four-way match. I never understood why Gabe moved the title off of Low-Ki after one defense, but I assume it was because of Ki's usual diva bullshit.

The Texan/mid-south indy wrestling scene is something I've been interested in watching more of for a while. Between AAW and Inspire, there's probably good stuff I'm missing, Brandon Stroud's involvement notwithstanding.
