Jesus, all this griping. Am I the only one who thought this movie was hot as fuck?
It was pretty hot yeah, but as usual people are over analyzing it and bashing it. Just enjoy the T2 level action scenes and stfu.VisionaryQuest0 said:Jesus, all this griping. Am I the only one who thought this movie was hot as fuck?

Shrike_Priest said:The fighting is very brutal, and very realistic looking. But there are only two fight-scenes. One maybe thirty seconds long, and the one single-take 2:30 fight (which is bar none my all time favourite fight-scene).

Who's over-analyzing it? The film is all flash and surface. There is nothing to analyze....though I'm sure we'll eventually see the same kind of half-baked academic papers that FFVII spawned. "The scene at the film's end represents a spirtual baptism for Cloud...a reawakening into a wondrous new world..."Drexon said:It was pretty hot yeah, but as usual people are over analyzing it and bashing it.
Shall I be the dumbass that always has to point out that Frankenstein was the doctor, not the monster?drohne said:was the ffvii cast always so...boring? didn't cid have a foul mouth? couldn't vincent turn into a frankenstein?
Everytime I think about the movie, I have to remind myself that that is Tifa not Rinoa, because it looks so much like Rinoa!border said:And they made Tifa kind of look like Rinoa.
Sho Nuff said:I'm watching Spirits Within RIGHT NOW on my projector and I'm stunned by how much better the facial rigs are. And it's such old tech too
Spirits Within also appears to have a color script, too. (Grumble)

Panajev2001a said:Well, ShoNuff... I am sure if they gave it the budget that Spirits Within got they could have modelled the characters better too.
Still, I like my Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within and I like it quite a bit.
Or maybe they knew shit was going down? Being all at the same time was just a dramatic element..That part felt so cheap.![]()
