Guess I need to post this again since there are some people who seem to have already forgotten after 2 page. Wow, how the mind slips!

"Allegedly"

Opening admitting to sexually assaulting someone(then banning anyone who called him out for it)

Posting revenge porn with their real full names then another admin(a now jailed pedophile) printed the photos and jacked off over them and sent it to the boyfriend.

Man, Ogawa almost didn't make it to the flight but thanks to KOG and Dogura helping me out with everything, he made it to the gate. He's not even in America yet and my heart can't take it. ;_;

An interesting thing I'm noticing about MKX is that there are some Russian-language channels streaming the game and getting lots of viewers (like this one which currently has over 1k viewers). The CIS countries are big into competitive gaming (see CSGO and Dota2), but never fighting games. And yet, MKX seems to be doing quite well among the Russian-speaking population, at least for now.

Russia is strong in Quake as well as far as I know. AOE2, maybe, not sure.

On the fighting game side they play a lot of Guilty Gear from what I know.

Russian guilty gear is strangely awesome... Like way better than the US. Sweden too. At least it used to be can't say for xrd.

Smash is boring :(

@nycfurby My phone gives me the option to translate this tweet to English from Slovenian.. then you know the man is hype haha

Slain.

Sweden also put 3 people into the top8 of Gutter Trash 3 (3rd Strike, that is France only put Victor and Massi). Hidden land of the monsters?

I can't even.

Yup both these countries, with France (Oro, Baykou, Camo, Cuongster are among the bests) have good players. In Sweden you have Shinjinn, Xzi, Yonasu, Svampen and I remember Caer being a sick Testament. From Russia there was a very good Chipp player named Goga that won a Tougeki qualification for his team (there was a guy we called Drunken Sol as he played while being drunk. Actually the biggest GG tournaments were held in Sweden, I went to two of them and it was awesome. The first time 12 french players came and the tournament had something like 70 players.
It was in 2010 I think, so it might sounds very low but the game had no online and was still played on PS2. It was the best GG tournament I went to, the hype was so strong, especially for the France vs Sweden tournament.

Funnily enough, there was a day I think in 2013 when MK9 had over 10k Twitch viewers, and it was because Ukrainian Dota2 superstar Dendi was streaming it. (Can't find the video, but there are clips of Dendi and his teammates playing MK9 at a LAN event.) Also, I once had a conversation with a Russian-speaker (in Twitch chat of a Dota2 channel) who was excited by the fact that I had met Tom Brady in person. It's possible Mortal Kombat may just reach a large part of the world that Street Fighter so far has not permeated.
Have you checked steamspy? MK9's majority playerbase is Russian on steam. MK9 might have done just as much for the genre as SFIV in it's own way by bringing A LOT of Russian newcomers. MKX will most likely be the first fighter to hit the one million unit milestone on steam. It was surprising to find out none had come close besides MK9. I wonder what the split looks like between physical and digital.

I just finished checking all the final results for the latest Topanga World League.

Does Momochi just not bother to learn the Dudley match-up, which is in Ken's favor? Even Sanford's Ken gives Smug more problems. I also don't understand his losses to Luffy. I'm not sure who wins the matchup, but doesn't seem super difficult for Ken, just annoying. Luffy is 2-1 against him in tournaments and he also kinda owns Bonchan and all Sagats too. No wonder people are happy to see him fail.

But then none of this matters, since Momochi goes on to totally dismantle the winner, Daigo. I need to watch this match. Ken vs E Ryu? In general, outside of Smug and Xia hai being busters, the results were kinda surprising\interesting.

I'm not sure if its to say its in Ken's favour. Smug really caught Momochi off guard with being able to punish Ken's SRK Fadc with U1. He wasn't able to adapt throughout the set or try dash forward even though he'd be at a negative.

Luffy is a GAWD, don't be surprised he beat Momochi.

Xaio Hai definitely is a buster.. now Smug? Nah.

Lost 4-5 to Sako and Xian. Both matches could've really went either way.
