Huh? I only need one of those characters to be happy. Every fighting game I play has tons of humans. It isn't like I think they are boring just because they are human. UNIEL just has some very uninteresting character designs. You could post most of the girls on any waifu dungeon RPG and you wouldn't know they aren't part of the cast. The game lacks aesthetic coherency.

It will be streamed, and to clarify Toryuken and the VF only tourney are two separate events. NYGX, the NYC VF tournament, will be streamed on http://www.twitch.tv/NYC_VF and you can watch the trailer for the event here. It will feature VF5FS, VF4FT and VF3, as well as a team tournament for VF5FS. I may have more big news about this tournament soon. Hopefully.

I really like the understated designs in Under Night. Like Orie. They're classy.

Also, the game is just great in general so i'm totally willing to forgive some designs i dislike (like noodle arms).

Yeah, UNIEL is my favorite new fighter from last year but it certainly was in spite of the character design although some did grow on me.

Weekly, once or twice a week.

Once a week. If its a tournament weekend, 4 times.

Never played with a person in training mode, I should probably fix that.

Dunno about the coherency. What UNIEL lacks is character, plain and simple.

I think the characters are dull. Just about everything else about the game is godlike though, so I don't care.

Crazy to think that Marvel films are the biggest thing ever but no love for UMvC3. Friend asked me if I play the mobile Marvel fighting game. I wanted to cry.

Back in my day, I played Diablo II hardcore mode on a 56k modem. That's like...double hardcore.

I play fighting games with one person whenever I am playing 1v1, right? That would seem to be a frequent event. If you just mean hanging out with 1 person, then rarely.

I play in groups every Thursday at locals.

I play in training mode whenever the spirit moves me to do so. Sometimes my wife is my training mode AI opponent since she can repeat actions that the AI can't.

I didn't hear that, but I did see you playing. I just barely had time to grab my GC controller before leaving, so all I had was Smash available to me. I am hoping we have a calm week where I can sit down and learn MKX soon. I said "hey" to Sandy, but she looked busy.

I was surprised that some of the Smash stations were missing Mewtwo. Hoping that isn't the case this week, because I'm only hungry for one thing right now. I posted it in the Smash OT, but I'm already up to 600 Mewtwo matches on my machine and 20+ hours of play compared to 1700 matches with Bowser and 84 hours.

I'm just dying for more gameplay to watch of him. The world is sparse because most tournaments are banning him right now.

Fox was packed last week. Had to do 4v4 Smash teams a few times just so everyone could play. I'll take that over watching any day, though.

Mewtwo just went on sale on the eShop, so tournaments will allow him now.

They don't need to try. He was great in the SF2 series (ST I know he is top tier and I think there was another version of SF2 he was god tier because of wonky limbs hurtboxes) and in Alpha 3. In MVC 2 people made crazy tech for him but no one really put it in practice since it seems to be execution heavy.

Dhalsim is really easy to make good and has a lot of tools so they have to make it hard for him. Basically the original "divekick" character too. They have to gimp him because they are afraid of him being unfun to fight against.

Smash players go hard.

Like I said earlier, MK just "clicked" with me, and now it feels pretty natural. I haven't had any time to mess around with characters yet. I've been forcing myself to just try out a bunch of stuff and move around to get used to how it feels.

I'm getting a cab this week. Going to have it wired up. Have all the parts, the 32" TV to go in. Can't wait. :)

My favorite thing about Virtua Fighter is how smooth it is in motion. Makes every other fighter look like janky crap. VF is just so good at making the basic interaction of a match look like a dance.

I simply love the character animation in VF5.

Hot stuff! I want to see it sometime. Just...not the next two weeks. Finals, and all that.

I keep trying to find a good video resource of all the character variants. All of them are like 40 minutes exploring 3 variations. I just want a quick montage so I can build quick knowledge. If anyone knows one, let me know.

I will probably use Sub-Zero. lolol ice traps are too amusing.
