It would be so weird to play him outside of 3. might as well put sim inCan't we get Necro instead of 'sim? They both stretch, close enough.
Does HD remix have the original graphics?

He shoulda had that done before NWM imo, gotta capitalize on the heat of the moment!
Of course this comes from the guy who knows about dat MAX CPM
I wish. This face happened right in the Top 8 though, I think lol
As for GAF sponsorships, we could try something for to raise money for it if folks are interested. My personal funding is focused on NWM and Seattle though. It allows me to take care of the players directly and I'd really like the local players to build connections with foreign players as well. So I don't have any plans to send folks to other events currently.
It comes from my personal savings. Cybit covered half of Art's ticket though. I actually chipped in for a lot of players this year directly and indirectly. The JP players I asked since they were with me the entire weekend and Cybit asked Art since as he's also a member here. =o
did anybody thank shouta on stream at all during NWM? i don't remember anybody mentioning him. i didn't tune in all that much but hopefully they did.
If they did, they would have used my real name but I do all of this stuff behind the scenes anyway. No one outside of the forum and local folks knows that this is the 3rd year I've done it though, lol
Art is wondering if FGC Gaf plans on more sponsorships.
yes. Not backgrounds though
Watching Justin's stream since he started doing MKX has been fantastic just for the hilarious explanations of events to newer viewers. I told him at NWM that we would introduce him as "up and coming twitch star Justin Wong"; got shot a combination of humorous/sad/evil glare from him, lol.
What? BS
he's good lookin, and he can sing
I'm surprised about some of you thinking SF3 characters are popular enough to be in SF5.
No teleport. Sim is one of the original SF characters.
Also, have you tried Necro?
You want a Blanka/Sim hybrid? That would be a new FG player killer.
How about we leave Sim and Necro alone and get a completely new character that isn't held back by their movesets and archetypes
Alex will be in SFV. Bet it.
Yams, do you rotate between avatars or is it random?
Alex will be in SFV. Bet it.
Squigly from skullgirls feels like she is missing an airdash or something. Like she is cool but doesn't have half the cheap shit that everyone else got. High low mix up doesn't seem strong, mobility is weak and doesn't have real zoning tools. Someone explain her to me.
seems like Hamad is talking about what Juicebox's been preaching for a while
So wait... I can change the art of the characters so I can have the original art that coincides with the hitboxes?!
Timmy/Johnny/Spike- if you're a Johnny, you're not going to be happy playing in tournaments if you're playing to win.'The game has changed from expressing who you are to doing whatever wins.'

Everyone is a bit "more" this time around. Charlie is Guile with teleports now.No teleport. Sim is one of the original SF characters. Also, have you tried Necro? You want a Blanka/Sim hybrid? That would be a new FG player killer.
What it's about is fun. Fun and ideals.
The true SF4 competitors should abuse everything and pick top tier. Hamad is starting to wrestle with the realization that he might not be after the win as much as he thought, because at the top level the game loses a lot of what made it fun while learning it.
I hope (and maybe Hamad does too) that eventually what is popular might also correlate with what is more "fun", especially in high-level play.
Of course, different players find different things "fun" so there's bound to be massive disagreements with this.
http://archive.wizards.com/Magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=mtgcom/daily/mr11b - It's very applicable to any game.Maybe I'm reading this whole thing wrong but, I'm not sure why he would feel this way. It's not like Fei Long is an inherently bad character. Even he admits that Fei Long is a good character. It just seems like he wants to blame the overall game but he just hasn't fully committed to doing it. He admits that he has more fun playing CVS2 than USF4 but lets not be blind, CVS2 has some skeletons in the closet too especially when it comes to high level play. (Justin vs Ricky literally down backing for around 2 minutes) Maybe this is just a person waking up and seeing the real competitive side of the game and does not like what he sees. But he does make some valid points about picking a character purely for Match up even if you have bad fundamentals.
Center stage and SBO = no zoning tools? She also has an armor piercing get over here move.Squigly from skullgirls feels like she is missing an airdash or something. It has to do with why you play. What are your motivations and goals? What he seems to be discovering is that his don't line up with the ones you need in order to be a top-level player. And that's ok.

For me, "fun" means:
- high skill ceiling
- able to pick all characters at top levels of play
- balance between offensive and defensive mechanics
Justin Wong is a Johnny. At least the current version of him, he used to be a Spike.
Really? I hadn't heard anything about that.Bryan has Necro's model in SFxT, which makes me real curious about what ended up happening to Necro in that game.
whyyyyyyyy?!?!?!
you can buy rice in bulk with any meat (pork chips, chicken, talapia) with some vegetables and it shouldn't cost you more than 5 bucks. what do you make as homemade lunches? calamari with a side of x-factor?
I feel you. 6 cups of coffee today. About to finally eat my meal soon
why I eat once a day or why I get $10 worth of taco bell
too lazy to eat anything for breakfast or lunch
I'm surprised about some of you thinking SF3 characters are popular enough to be in SF5.

He was going to play Saberwulf before the character was even considered good. Dude plays Storm in Marvel and Rufus in SF4. He is definitely not a Spike these days.Yeah Sabrewulf player in KI.
Pretty sure he's still a spike, he just frames himself as a Johnny.
I love watching yams go in on people's dietary choices. You can tell he just started that squattin' life.
It's adorable.

Kung Lao in MK9 week one. Batman in Injustice.
Rufus loyalist? Rufus was nerfed in SFxT? Straight to Hworwang instead, first week of the patch.
When he was planning on playing tekken 6 he was going to use Bob.
Haha it's all good yams, I respect the enthusiasm. You're the nutritional gadfly FG GAF needs but doesn't deserve.
