That game was fast as fuck tho...
But yeah looks a bit slow and seeing Ryu inch across the screen with like 8 dashes was suprising
did you like the part where ryu did 6 dashes in a row and still didn't reach the other side of the screen
(which then opened up and became a double length stage)
And people talk shit about Eventhubs comment section, smh.
Ryu's dash is also pathetic in SF4, read below.
edit: I hope Capcom realize that slow combos, and slow walk speed makes it horrible for spectating.
Combos look close to SF4 speed, but with more animation with the exception that her lightning legs(non-EX) only hit twice and had juggle potential.
The second gif is complete overreaction, Chun Li was at the edge of the screen and her back jump got caught with the projectile moving her pretty far away and surprise I tried this with SF4 and it's about the same exact positioning, so in this case SF4=SF5.
The Chun Li V-trigger projectile spam looked like a major oversight though, iirc SF always had projectile limitations to prevent this kind of situation unless there is something else that counters this spam.
Capcom hasn't done themselves any favors by hiding all gameplay information and I think Daigo hasn't even used V-Trigger. Looks like the players weren't briefed well ahead of time, thus the presentation failed at highlighting what distinguishes SFV. If there is anything to be learned from the show "Cross Assault" and other games at launch is that two "beginners" slugging it out isn't exactly the best idea to show off a game, no matter how famous/good the participants are.
