There's a follow up tweet from Niitstuma immediately afterwards.Capcom's still in the business of making fighting games, and it's thanks to fans like you!
I would wager the next-gen game announcement's at EVO.

I don't know anyone in TTT2 but I'm free in the game anyway.
Thanks! I saw another video too, so at least I know the team to prepare for.
Any ZMC players on GAF I could train with a bit? I don't recognize anyone else in my bracket, so (theoretically) it should be smooth sailing after Sean Aquino.
Lol, I should probably warn Ward. You two have fun.It begins.... >
Laugh and Dieminion is gonna be a bonkers fight in pools.
As stupid as that match is, a Day 3 Yun is unlikely to beat a dude who used to beat Daigo for fun.
If you play Ryu, you are kind of boned though, so you might as well.
smug, RF will be fun

Hahahahaha. Oh man, this is gold.
Thank you! I will look him up.Definitely Mizoteru, apparently he's coming to EVO this year. He plays a very lame Blanka just like me(j/k, the other Rice guy). He use to be somewhat of a myth. Back in the old says back in 2009, I remember Justin took a trip to Japan. When he came back he talked about how their was this crazy Blanka player who would beat Daigo all the time and when he left to go play at a different machine, Mizoteru would follow him to play him again in that area.
Your USF4 pool definitely looks doable. Sange Tencho is a pretty good Fei Long player. Unless one of these other guys is actually really good, he should be the favorite to take the pool. But getting out in losers is probably up for grabs and I think you have a good shot at it.
It just means Niitsuma reads GAF and wanted to weigh in on yesterday's discussion. So does that Niitsuma tweet imply the online servers will be taken down? Or just that a "new era" is soon?
there's also Isle of Man (practically Great Britain, but not technically).Great Britain - 9
England - 1
Is there any precedent for servers being taken down for such a widely played not so old game as Marvel 3? It would crush me if I couldn't play online anymore. What a stupidly ambiguous tweet from Niitsuma.

This must mean he's working on something to replace it. Right, guys?
I had to rush mine for MTG.apparently smug was invited out to SEAM but he doesn't have a passport
Look at the next tweet. This must mean he's working on something to replace it. Right, guys?
>_>
I want to believe!

The crazy thing is, I think Sp00ky could commentate any game. He does about as well of a job in front of UMvC3 and SF4 as he would in front of Sailor Moon SuperS or Fighter's Masters.
Holy fuck at nearly 2k for USFIV.
Grown by about 500 people since 2012. It's a bit hard to find earlier stats though.
BBCP numbers are surprising. Quite solid.
god damn the number of jp entrants lol
I am 100% in Justin Marvelous Wong's camp. Manly tears will be shed if he wins. I don't care if I am the only person who feel this way.
Huge gaps like that makes a pot split much more likely, I would think.
When was the last time justin won evo, 2010? He's due for another.
Have no clue what this means

I guess maybe a live stream hub because Spooky/IPW is doing the main stream for EVO.
Spooky confirmed on twitter that the same team that streamed EVO last year is doing it this year. He said it's some kind of news thing.
Is watching VODs on Twitch a miserable experience for anyone else? Nonstop buffering here. And I usually don't have major problems just watching streams.
I got my pool fray: http://evo2014.s3.amazonaws.com/brackets/ssf4_a49.html
Looks like I got Hungbee in my Ultra pool, but I don't think I've got any other big names luckily.

With a $25K booster to the pot, I don't know why this is? Remember how many people entered KOF13 in 2012 (I think) just because of a Mai t-shirt?
I... it baffles me how people continue blaming Capcom on this matter, while we keep repeating over and over that the real "I don't give a shit about this franchise" part comes from Marvel. What a daft tweet by Niitsuma. There better be something positive on the horizon regarding this franchise, or Capcom is without a doubt one of the dumbest corporations in recent history.
That does not seem to mesh well with a curtain closing.guys
what if
what if it's the patch
Not yet....

You really think Capcom wouldn't have preferred being able to milk the franchise like they did with SF4?
Edit: I wish Niitsuma would tweet "The dream is dead".
Like I said, the Vita content was supposedly pulled this week for Marvel. For Niitsuma, this likely represents the end of an era in his career. It makes perfect sense for him to make a tweet like that. It is only cryptic if you assume it means more than what it says. You're missing the point entirely.
To continue to make cryptic tweets/PR statements regarding a game/franchise whose rabid fans are desperate for an update to, when all signs point to it being nigh impossible, is just plain dumb. Stop antagonizing us. The company has a history of getting our hopes up for this stuff, which is beyond silly.
But... the guy is saying that the game *is* dying, and thanks all the fans for their support. He is literally putting an end to this cycle of hopes. You're missing the point entirely.

I don't even know what to say to this.
