He looks alot better than I thought he would. Story mode looks like Injustice 2.0. People are going to love it. I'm hyped to watch it ripped immediately to YouTube.
And this $20,000 invitational couldn't spare some cheddah to fly Spooky in to put on a better presentation? I hope these other invitationals being planned take note.

The SF4 metagame is becoming insane. Every damn round is a counterpick and people are rewiring buttons mid match.

Yeah, but that doesn't mean he doesn't need it. Besides, I'm not missing the crossup hitbox due to oki, though that would be nice. He suffers in neutral because of it. j.S is almost a button never worth pressing. If you're in a situation where your opponent is open below you, and the two character's hurtboxes are in danger of crossing up, you don't have a button to take advantage of that unless they're crouching (j.K). Intuition tells you to press j.S, but that just whiffs and gets you grabbed.
And there's also, again, the issue with the lower portion of the attack's hitbox - it practically doesn't exist. So you have to be an execution wizard just to be able low-airdash j.S on a lot of the cast, while crouching, or you just sail passed them into a punish. It really hurts his oki (what he's supposed to be doing) because Dust/Greed Sever are not legitimate overhead options. This is why you see Ain spam TK Stun Edge all day. His oki game has gone from a legitimate high-low with his low AD option in +R, to a throw bait gimmick with Air Stun Edge. It's admittedly a good gimmick, but its Attack Level is reportedly getting nerfed and the landing lag is still a thing.
j.S is fundamentally broken. It doesn't function outside air combos.

Mike is usually good with combofiend. idk who gootecks can commentate with but it's certainly not mike.
Yes, I'm back in there.
I assumed it would be for this much money and so much time spanned across 3 days, but eSports isn't on point with everything it seems still.
The community needs to do a better job at hyping events. Maybe it would help if the players talked about the event beforehand, or maybe the organizers could have shed some details to help get the word out which is only to their benefit since they also want people to watch.

Possibly. I could see Mike was just letting Gootecks ramble. Kept on going "tell me what you have in your mind" and telling him to calm down during that Rose match.
edit: I think there was also no balance between them two. Mike is a good play-by-play commentator, but Gootecks could not carry the color commentary.
