I think so. I think we keep too much locked into this thread to be honest.
Alright, I'll make a quick and dirty one and try to pretty it up later.

And y'all should be careful with that. Don't let FGW become like that one Rockband thread.

Which is?

Daigo said a while ago that he thought Yun isn't as good because against the characters that are used in tournaments, the matchups aren't heavily in his favor. For example, Yun demolishing Sim in a matchup counts towards the overall placement of Yun in the tierlist, but the best players won't be using Sim so there is no point in using Yun's overall top 5 or so placement in the tierlist to say that Yun is indeed top 5.

I think Noel thinks that Daigo said Yun flat out sucks.

Okay it's late and the week so, it's scramble for spotlight time!

Anyone willing & able to do the spotlight within the next two days? Also, people can nominate others they would like to see.

Who's everyone planning to main in MKX? Assuming he's official, which seems likely, I'm going to use Erron Black. Unless you require intense execution to use him.

Going to go back to Cage first, but will prob give all characters a shot. The variations have been interesting and make some characters I would normally not use (eg Raiden) an interesting variation.

KOF (360) was pretty high up also, but that could be because of the online population. Also Persona (360) pre patch was unplayable, post patch was fine though.

The PC netcode is better. the oldschool KOF netcode is around Blazblue quality, though with a low player base, much of which lives far far away.

Oh yes, KOF12, my god...
This "wins" (as much as anyone can win by having such awful online), holy shit KoF XII online was an "experience". For games people haven't mentioned already, Aquapazza at launch of the JP version was nearly as bad (although it improved to a more mundane levels of bad with the US/EU release). T5:DR and Tekken 6 online was hilariously bad, as well. The jump in quality for online play from SC4/T6 to SC5/TTT2 is staggering.

I think the fact that NRS spent more time adding single player features than working on the netcode is kind of unsettling to me. It's like the game is packaged to appeal to people who will buy it and play it for a month and quit, not for the people who stick around and play it online all the time. In this day and age there really is no excuses to release games with subpar netcode.

They know the real money is from people who guy the game day 1 via pre order, play the single player game for a week and move on to the next big budget AAA pre-order bull shit game.

Hence the pre-order bonuses and season passes.
