Glad to see Capcom not let their partnership with Sony get in the way of clean tournament results.

Honestly... I didn't even know that this port was being done by a third party from SCEA until after its release now. That would've been an automatic red flag lol.

Sucks to be SCEA and Capcom more than this third party developer...because odds are they'll have to go spend like double what they wanted to for this to turn into a functioning port now.

I'd withold payment to these developers for a royal class fuck up. No good product? Tough titties. No money for you.

They got away with that horrible MK Arcade port. I'm AMAZED that they were allowed to touch this game.

Which should have raised another flag, if its too good to be true, then that's probably the case. Wish Sony and Other Ocean would get reprimanded for this but sadly they'll get away unscathed while we are the ones left to deal with this.

I think this gen has proven that people don't care about games being broken, atleast not enough to stop buying stuff sight unseen

Not sure if this is this is the right place to ask this, but might as well: anyone in here have any experience running Ultra Street Fighter IV on a mac? My specs are fine, so I'm not super worried about it, but I've never played a game while running a separate operating system before. I was reading on Steam that some people use Wine at it works well, but was hoping there might be some people here with experience before I download anything.

I think there might be a possibility that Premiere Events might have to use the PS3 version.

@CEOJebailey: I'm pushing for Ultra SF4 to be on XBOX 360 at #CEO2015 & Capcom wants what's best for the CPT events. Will have an official post tomorrow.

lol, this video was brought on when CCC2 came out, NKI and a lot of the pros on SRK felt there was input lag and David Sirlin, I guess the community manager for Backbone at the time, refuse to believe any of them because they had no objective proof of the input lag.

NKI was forced to make that video to show that CCC2 did have input lag because he was taking lot of heat from SRK forum users for his accusations. It's great read and you get to see why Super Turbo HD Remix turned to shit.

Capcom and Sony are both at fault. It's Capcom's IP that is used in their huge marketing device known as Capcom Cup, they should've been on either the dev or Sony's ass to make sure the port was everything Capcom promised. Sony should've been on the dev's ass making sure the resources were there and that it was everything that Capcom said it would be.

This is likely mismanagement with the people calling the shots not knowing shit about fuck all in regards to programming and development saying do everything on this list in [unreasonably short timeframe] for [low budget].

I'm surprised that more people weren't alarmed that NOTHING was shown from the PS4 port to the public during development.

I guess whoever did the PC port was busy, they probably would've been their best bet for a PS4 version.

It's a bit confusing reading down the timeline as to why it's all happening (like "Cops got me;" what?) but like you said we don't know what can be done really, and it's also kind of gray as to whether DetectiveGAF should get up on it and potentially put family at risk (as it also seems like she was receiving some harassment via Twitter?). I at least hope other KiT community members have a better handle on things and how to help.

I've played him maybe.. close to 70 matches on XBL. His Juri is amazing. After playing him I really believe Juri/Elena is 6-4 Juri's favour.

Well a friend went by Anne's house today to see if his parents were around but nobody was home. Said friend was gonna check again this evening but I didn't hear back yet. Anne lives about 40 minutes away from me by car, and I don't even have one, so I can't really check myself. We've basically done some looking as best we can, but as of right now, there's not really much we can do but wait.

I'm worried about Anne but I'm not sure what can be done. Sounds like one thing lead to something worse and now she's been MIA for 2-3 days.

Capcom said that TO's can continue using their standard hardware till the end of CPT 2015, so if tournies were using 360's before, they can continue doing so I would assume.

Anne's timeline reads like she was going in for an involuntary psych hold, which isn't really the sort of thing I'd want to even speculate on or discuss further than that - I would trust anyone closer to the situation would reach out if something was up.

idk. Jebailey's tweet and Mr.Wizard tweeted that they are still deciding which console to use makes it seem like there is a debate about the 360 version and PS3 version.

Either they didn't get the memo or they're putting out a politically correct statement. They're not going to put Capcom on blast or even outright declare that they won't use the PS4 version under any circumstances. A statement like the one they gave keeps them on good terms. They'll switch if the problems are resolved, if not then they reserve the right to continue using the 360 version as they have in the past.

Sony is likely pushing for PS3 hardware because you know, they donated a bunch of money and they're probably tired of seeing 360's being used.


Which they could have avoided by making sure the PS4 port wasn't a piece of shit. Sigh.

Probably this. Maybe there's a chance they get it running on time so they won't throw the PS4 out immediately.

I'd be really surprised if they fixed all the bugs and input lag before EVO, especially because of that Capcom update. Really surprised.
