Smash 4 mechanics + being on 3DS + online makes the entire game feel like shit.

So sluggish and unresponsive.

Agreed. It's a huge improvement over Brawl online, but that's not enough for a game that requires such precision. The circle pad is also ass.

Local play on Wii U with GameCube controllers should be pretty legit, though.

Is there any fighting game where people feel the online is consistently solid on a wireless handheld?

Honestly curious.

It's anything but consistent but I've gotten very smooth connections in Vita Marvel. Also, lol at Doom combo. Mahvel still the dumbest best game.

Edit: Vita Marvel's online is also way better than Vita Injustice, SFxT and Divekick

I played kof 2000, tekken 3, and xvssf on american cabs today at some place in San Francisco. My god circle gates are the worst. At least they had a sunset rider cab.

There's definitely a small input delay even on the smoothest matches. It's a lot better than Brawl, but the online options are still really bad.

For wifi on a handheld, smash 4 feels pretty good online. But then again this is my first smash and I have no idea wtf is going on ever.

So far from the stream, Rage Arts are way too clutch to be abused. Either you're taking too much damage from your opponent and die, or its too slow to properly punish anything and it gets blocked.

I need something about a Virtua Fighter 6.

Sega pls.

All this T7 stuff is making me incredibly envious.
literally keep everything about FS the same and give it a new coat of paint and 2 new characters

I would die

Tekken 7 might be the first game in the series with a bad OST. Every stage so far is the worse kind of dubstep.

Tekken 7 is looking ALOT more solid than TTT2.

Power Crushes and Rage Arts seem to be like opposite counter parts.

Power Crushes to reset or continue your pressure at the cost of life. Particularly useful in the Rage situation when you're winning and have life to spare and your opponent is in rage.

Rage Arts as a clutch(and very hard to clutch might I add) comeback mechanic. Its slow as hell. You get rage at a very low amount of health and even then its pretty much useless to go for it if you're on chip status. To get the best use out of it, you'd have to be right at the point where rage starts. Raw Rage Arts need to do 50% because its so hard to land them raw. They're probably more useful in a combo.

The game is looking solid and honestly I'd play Lok test version as is.

Just some thoughts on what I've seen so far.
