My wife ordered the Nendo for her desk at work. The tanned Masane Amaha cheerfully wielding her beer is amazing in person.

We've been playing an obscene amount of Warframe the last couple weeks so when they announced a figure, my wife pre-ordered it:

I had just finished watching Kiniro Mosaic when NNB started. My cuteness cup was already overflowing. I couldn't take any more at the time
plus NNB was just not as engaging as Kiniro, sorry Renge...
. It's still in my shortlist backlog to go back to when I'm in the mood for a new slice of life show.

Gotcha, I am kinda the opposite, I adore NNB and while I liked Kiniro it is nowhere near as good as NNB to me personally. I just love the carefree happiness that comes from the show. Slice of life is my favorite genre though so I can understand others getting a overload of cuteness hehe.

That being said...when are we getting a Shinobu or Aya nendo :p

I also just got the KOF Vanessa I've been wanting for awhile. Also oob, but don't care. With my $20 in eBay bucks it was $98.

I haven't bought figs in awhile, and I probably shouldn't buy anymore in awhile...but it feels good to be back in the game.

Also, by awhile, I mean until I can find the Alpha Omega Viletta Nu at a reasonable price...which may be a couple of days.

Considering that she came out in 2009, most prices might be somewhere around there. The last time I saw her pop up on mandarake a month or so ago, she had a 16k asking price attached. So yeah.

You could try loading the figure into FigInStock and hope to get lucky. I waited about a year to get regular color Arshes Nei, but even then I still ended up paying about $130 for it (same goes for that tanned Witchblade figure I just got too...).

Honestly, it beats buying games that who knows when I'll get to play,I can work on my backlog, and I might as well use that money on something that will also just sit on a shelf. But it will also look nice in the process.

If you can't already tell, I'm trying to justify the hell hole I'm about to throw my wallet into.

You should be selective. Prices are going up. Part of my wishes I just stuck exclusively with the bishoujo series from Kotobukiya. Those are what got a lot of people into figures.

This hobby is fairly new to me so I'm trying to be selective too, I've read horror stories about people going way over board.

I've been collecting various things all my life. Some very expensive such as weapons to others that were more time consuming such as ferrets. In 2007 I got bitten by a bug and started to collect figures, each year the number of figures acquired and the amount spent increased exponentially until I probably spent over 100,000 dollars on figures, I was basically spending around 30,000 a year on figures. At this point I think I found myself as have others on here on knowing what they are after. Basically my tastes have been refined and I know the direction I want to go with figures.

I went through this whole thread a few days ago and I remember seeing that post ^^^^
