Looks like they'll all ship fine to my address. I haven't used them myself for figures but I ordered stuff like books and music CDs. They were generally very good and fast with shipping.

I have heard from few people who have ordered figures from Amazon Japan said that the shipping was very good and fast. But than again I am talking about Korea, which is very close to Japan so if it's shipping to US/EU it might be different.

Thanks raven. They are definitely fast - using DHL global express (no other option available to UK), in-stock items can arrive within 3-4 days. I have been using them for years, but I just wanted to make sure there isn't any weird quirks that come with ordering figures as I've only ever ordered books and CDs.

Same problems here in Germany. While in the electronic market there are several hentai anime absolutly open for display, the law makes it easily possible to ban it at the same time or prosecute the people that ones the movies. Forbidding fiction, in picture, writing or figures, is plain stupid and fulfills no purpose - at least no purpose that secures anyones safety.

Don't fall for internet Hyperbole, this is the UK law:

(1) It is an offence for a person to be in possession of a prohibited image of a child.

(2) A prohibited image is an image which—

(a) is pornographic,

(b) falls within subsection (6), and

(c) is grossly offensive, disgusting or otherwise of an obscene character.

(3) An image is “pornographic” if it is of such a nature that it must reasonably be assumed to have been produced solely or principally for the purpose of sexual arousal.

(4) Where (as found in the person’s possession) an image forms part of a series of images, the question whether the image is of such a nature as is mentioned in subsection (3) is to be determined by reference to—

(a) the image itself, and

Anyone here played the card game Weiss Schwarz? I saw it on amiami and looked into it. Looks cool, but seems really hard to find english cards of anything other than the most recent sets.

Sorry for the late reply (went to bed early last night), but yeah I have played the cardgame. An acquaintance taught me at BGG.con and we played a few matches with his cards. I don't own any cards but I know how to play, mostly.

Yeah, a lot of the cards are not available in English; I guess they just can't afford to keep up the English publishing of everything? Mostly just the starter set type things are translated. If you are bilingual or want to use some cheat-sheets you can mix the cards.

The game actually plays pretty quickly once you know how to play. I want to say it's like 10-15 minutes for a game (it's been a year since I played so I can't remember exactly). Did you have specific questions about the game?

Me playing his Madoka deck versus his Fate/Zero deck (I lost but it was close!)

He had some cool Nanoha decks, too (Japanese cards). As a Hayate/Rein fan I had to take a pic.
