Yeah I know. I remember when these Story char events came to JP. JP Players said that Lasswell sword is nice to have. I guess we have TM farmed so much that its not so nice. Unless it has some element?

Now I have to decide if awakening Fina further is even worth it. I have Rain and Laswell at lvl 100, even been giving some spare pots that I can't use on anyone else on Rain to get him buffed up for the story character exclusive content.

Probably not. The bonuses only apply to the original and Season2 CG versions of the units, not the various other crossover/alt versions of the units on JP (which the halloween ones would fall under)

I feel like this post is going to get lost in the plethora of posts that are likely to ensue today's news but hopefully you see it.
- I haven't refilled but if I don't have everything by the last day I will refresh then. I have my own Mog King calculator spreadsheet, but I only do the calculations based on the average rate I'm getting, excluding rare spawns and any rank ups. I do this so I know the maximum amount of runs I need to do per day to get what I want. However rare spawns and rank ups are a thing, so I'm going to let it play out and see where I am on the last day.
- I do not believe this rate up was unintentional, but a result of the backlash from the Type Zero event. The event was praised for the double the rate and NRG consumption which saved IRL time, but was criticised for not adjusting the rare spawns accordingly. I feel Gumi have shown that they listen to the community and adjusted the rate.
- As I said in part 2 I feel this was an intentional choice, and so I believe this will be the new norm going forward. I said the other day that I don't refresh often, and the reason I am willing to refresh on this event is because it's very unlikely that I'm ever going to have this kind of bonus again. I kept my 2 Seria from the last BF banner specifically for this event, as well as Maxwell, so I was already at 250%. Then I managed to get Tilith after a daily and 4 tickets, and with friend 5* banner units I'm sitting at 425%. Because of this I want to go for some crysts, which I wouldn't normally consider (I want 3 support giant, 3 power giant, 1 power pure). On top of that there's some really good stuff available. All 3 exclusive items are worth picking up. On top of that there's the Kelsus shards, and I always like to pick up HP+15%s. Those 5 together exceed 100k ore, which is 50 runs for me, but imo they're worth spending lapis on to get if I have to do so.
I believe I have enough Guard and Tech to enhance WoL once his enhancements drop... Unless there's another character drops that uses them that I want to enhance.
I have no clue who even uses Healing Crysts. I literally have way too many of the smaller versions and kinda want to sell them.

Gunna try and enhance both of mine for Team Dark (Elza, DKC, DKC, Dark Veritas)
Yes. Probably. Yes. I imagine lots of RNG and item combining.

The thing that excites me more in explorations is that probably you can get crysts with it... now how many days will take an exploration to get a single cryst....

Also, Lakshmi gets added as an Esper (was not expecting her as an Esper choice in this game)! Out of curiosity, I always wondered this but how did Hindu mythology make its way into the early Final Fantasy titles? We also have Mahadeva in the Colosseum too.
1) Yes, maybe once or twice a day (but wasn't because of the currency rates).
2) Rates haven't been great with me actually, haven't run into as many metal gods as others, and also I'm just running with 3 Bonus units (Maxwell, Karl and Karl). 25 NRG is quite a lot for the one run and it seems like I need more runs in each day for the rewards I want to grab, and as it's an easy "auto" event I'm trying to make the most out of it (also because I have Maxwell for a greater bonus).
3) If the NRG was around 15 then I probably wouldn't refresh as much as I'd get more free runs in during the day. Also, if the team I had didn't have many bonus units, I'll just grab the exclusive items and leave out Crysts / Moogles.

. Was just always curious how Hindu deities made it into the series, wonder who was inspired to add them and why.It really is good how they are coming around again, so people who couldn't do them before can clear them, and new players get to experience them. Good stuff!

Well I guess they've kind of been there since the beginning. I mean Shiva was in FF3 which I think is where summons started.
FF has always been a pretty multicultural game. Ifrit is Arabic I think. Odin is Norse. The list goes on.
Reraise seems good but that also mean we have to re-buff him every turn right?
Guess i will try how hard it is to time the healing in-between. 1500% damn sure seem really fun to play.

the issue is that for this events units rate are pitiful..
10 tix gave me a tilith (yay) and nothing else... meaning that until i get a maxwell, i won't have enough multiplier to farm comfortably... :/
I had 325% Bonus + friend unit 100% before this event started.
Compared to last time:
1. Normal droprate (13 nrg)
2. 3 Metal Gods (1 Bonus 75% unit + friend Elza 100%)
3. 3 Metal Gods (25 nrg)
Now we are getting more Metal Gods to pop than last time.

Yes because most of us already had Maxwell and Tilith and the previous 3 star base units from the previous event. I am running Elza, Maxwell, Tilith, and one of the 3 stars and when the metal gods appear I've pulled 15k+ crimson ore.

I'm running a team of Maxwell, Tilith, 2x Karl and Seria with a Maxwell/Elza friend for a total of +500% bonus.
4*
No 3* units in this event. Tho Seria feels like 2* unit and same for Karl.AdawgDaFAB

Now that I've had some time, I leveled Delita up to 100. However, I'm not seeing much use in him for my teams. Is his only redeeming factor his TM Sword?
Is it worth enhancing him? I have Ling that I use for breaks/mp battery and many of us will have WoL whenever Gumi allows it. I'm sure DPT would go up w/ 20% stronger DEF and SPR breaks, but he doesn't have mitigation via ATK/MAG breaks. At first glance, that doesn't seem like a good trade-off.
