From my guaranteed 5* 10+1 pull:
First time I got all the banner units. Super happy with this event
I got Tidus on the guaranteed pull too - congrats!
He didn't crack it because he has maneater on his materia slot and he isn't on my friends list so he doesn't benefit from Espers. I'm Rank 150 so I get to see all the whales at the bottom of my list. Even my Tidus hits 965, so Tidus with Ring of Dominon would be over 1k easy.

500 Lapis left to farm for my guaranteed 5* 11 Pull - i should be able to do it by tomorrow. Kinda hope is get Ramza.

Right now Gilgamesh is my strongest hitter w. Dual Wield Excalibur and the Katana which name i just forgot lol. Since im missing the new Top Tier DPS like Orlandu and co. - what would be the best friend to hook up with in combination with Gilga ?
Also in general what would be a good Team combination ? Refia + WoL + Ling + 2 DPS ?
And from those 5* units which 1 or 2 should be priority for evolving ? Or should i skip them all for now ? I know that Agrias will be useful once she gets a 6* version as a Mini Orlandu xD

I'm not super informed, but if those were my units, I would run:
2x Setzer
WoL
Rikku
Refia
I base that entirely off being able to chain Setzer for DPS and the rest for solid defense and survivability.

So I haven't really played the game since a month after launch, I logged in for bonuses/events but that's about it and then stopped a couple of months ago since I had to factory reset my phone and didn't bother reinstalling. I have the following units :

(I was levelling some of the main party when I quit, they levelled up vita expeditions over the past week)
And loads of trust moogles (it says I can't hold more) & random pots.
Can someone suggest what units I should throw them on?
Also, where can I read up on thr story since I don't remember much since picking up the blonde girl.
Also is there a list of missable/hidden places like ifrit?

Thanks man, i kinda dropped out before the Chaining Meta really took over. So Setzter is a good unit for this ? I only have 2x 4* versions so he will need alot of exp to get up there.
Who would be the finisher in that scenario...the friend unit ? Gilga is my best unit so far so ill try to include him somehow but have to do more tests first.
Does Setzter need specific TMs to be good ? I dont see myself farming TMs anytime soon again tbh lol. This was on part that make me drop the game in the first place.

I've completely ignored its existence too. It's a great a equip no doubt. But it's cons out way it's pros greatly IMO. There are plenty of other nice accessories to equip.

you just wait. The single butterfly changes color
run into it when its blue and it spawns a bunch in the area
just do pro 1x, skip whatever you dont need to touch
i feel this is wrong, i was missing a lot of butterflies for some odd reason, i did 8 or 9 beg runs and after awhile no matter what color i touched the starting one, it would only pop out 1 red. moving up to higher difficulties solved it.

I guess I can start saving tickets all over again since I got Rikku this morning. Wasn't a bad Anniversary. Ended up with Tidus, Rikku, Ramza, Shine No.7 and Xon No.3. Not bad pulls.
Want to get Ayaka next and a couple of others on my list...
- 5* Dark Veritas for my Dark Element Team (DKC, DKC, Elza, Dark Veritas, Ramza) - TM has +30% ATK Greatsword, +30% ATK Heavy armor (For Cid?)
- 4* Wind Veritas x 2 or more if it's stackable - TM has +50% ATK Spear, +25% to Jump damage. (For Aileen)
- 5* Duke - TM has +30% ATK Lance & +30% ATK Helm (for Aileen)
- Marie (For resistances)

Wilhelm is a clear upgrade over Cecil at tank
Rikku is a clear upgrade over CoD at support
Firion or Fohlen is a clear upgrade over Exdeath for damage.
If you have any Fohlen friends, you can chain them with yours.
Minfilia is a flex pick on fights where you need high resist to a limited number of elements, so level her too.

Hmm interesting. I was thinking about what they could do to him the other day. I think we all need to accept that JP Noctis and GL Noctis are just different units. There's no simple way to buff him up to JP standards. I thought Close Quarters Warp Break would have been an enhancement of Warp Break but maybe they will stealth add it. I don't agree with it though as I think it opens the flood gates and I would rather Gumi stand by their decision of having a GL Noctis.
And that is why we play JP lol. That being said my pulls have been trash over there recently

- What did ya boi over here get? Absolute trash lmao. Apart from my rainbow. There were on 5 units I wanted (not including Tidus) and this was one of them.
- Took me 19 tickets to get Rikku.
- I somehow managed to get a success in 2 Expeditions where I had 40% chance lol. Both for burst pots. Good times.
- This raid is trash lol. You get way more raid coins but takes 5 times as long to spend them for nonsense rewards. Ever since the big 2.0 update this game has not been good.
- Still haven't got anything back from support about my deleted king cacs. Sent another message.
- [JP] Man the raid was stingy with moogles. I spent around 300k coins and didn't get a completed TM. GL definitely has it down in that department.

- [JP] Nothing really seems that good with the mog king. Will get standard stuff.

Did some 4* ticket and regular ticket pulls. Nothing special.
Used 5* EX ticket we got earlier -- got Cloud.
Did 5k pull on FF XII banner -- got Elfried.
So now I'm half way there to a full TDH set. This might be a better outcome than getting on banner units, lol. Guess I'm gonna have to pull on upcoming Elfried/Cloud banners now.

Since Basch was mentioned having 50% breaks, who is THE BEST breaker in the game? Breaking is often very important so I'm wondering which unit is deemed best to do so. In JP that is, so I can save lapis and tickets for them.

Can you even do the 40 NRG level with bonus units only? That level is insane, not even with my main team I could do it lol.
I wonder how people will react when we get that difficulty here, we won't be able to carry it with an entire bonus unit like we always do.
You don't need to today. It appears the drops aren't random this time. You'll always get turtles and a green cryst set.
Stuff like 9S TMs (300% aoe chains) and Rikku's pouch TM (aoe breaks) are invaluable for stuff like this.
I've got 2 bonus units rocking 9S TMs and one with Rikku's pouch. That takes care of the chains and breaks. Last bonus unit (Vayne) does buffs and I kept Tidus around as the last party member to just make it an easy 'repeat' press clear.
Usually bring 100% bonus units as friends, but can't really rely on them to fill a role.
Is the reward worth it considering how little bonus you are taking?

I'm only running 1 non-bonus unit -- Tidus. The rest are bonus units with 9S and Rikku TMs.
Only got 4* bonus units myself, so 75%*4+100% from friends.
But I think people did the calculations and it's worth running 40 en one even if you have like 2 bonus units, since the bonus monster encounter rate seems to be higher and there are no lower tier bonus monsters (no bombs)

Oh right, I misread that. I will stick with the prior stage anyway, I'm not that updated with TMs to run the 40 NRG yet. At least the bonus enemies appear very often, it's almost like the BF event we just had on Global.
