It sure seems like it...check above. Would be silly to do normal 11 pulls. Even for one you get a 5* trust moogle. Just dont get too disheartened when its the moogle and not a unit. You need to see two rainbows on that pull to be getting a 5* base...

oh man lucky you! I dumped 25 tix and 6 gold tickets and got 0 rainbows. Then I spent 15k lapis for 3 steps and got 4 rainbows. Got a Lila out of the deal but 0 Sephiroth. So salty right now!

There's still the tickets from the event if you want Sephiroth. I'd say making it out with Lila is great though since you're an established player. She'll have so much flexibility in builds.

I finally got a 4-star ticket from the Raid gatcha. =O I thought they were a myth in JP considering my luck in the last 3 raids.

Sad to see GL rates picking off members of the community. Everyone feared these shit rates and sure enough the came, and not only that, they made it hurt even more by adding additional units to make the shit rates even more painful.

Won't lie, I'm still playing after the debacle but it's mainly log in, collect daily rewards so I get that lapis and the ticket, do Arena for the lapis and then I check out for the day. I even make sure I take the 1-day expeditions so I don't have to boot up the app again. I've barely been using NRG until today because of the story addition, meaning Lapis, but I'm in no real rush to complete it.

This will also likely be the first MK where I check out once I get the tickets.

They killed my enthusiasm for the game. I'm refusing to pull again until they do more than just a 3% rainbow rate, because even that won't do jack for me since yellow banner units are still ultra tough to rely on obtaining.

Gumi damaged this community via greed. Heck they are still holding back long due Enhancements and EX rewards.

Now speaking of EX rewards. That unit you get from spending $300, will she be retroactive or do all the players who have invested $300+ now be required to do it all over again?

If so then that's some real bullshit and explains why they held her back.

Gumi and positive retroactive change cannot exist in the same sentence. It will be from a "this point on" type of thing.

I've been able to replicate this with nice success although not perfect each time. However, in trying to replace Orlandu with Fryevia it's been much, much WORSE. Her wack ass frame times and A2's wack ass frame times make it so much harder to achieve. #firstworldffbeproblems.

You can go through all 5 steps 3 times. So you're pretty much guaranteed the banner characters if you have 75k lapis, only some really really unlucky people would fail that.

I don't know if it'll be a regular thing, but I'd be quite surprised if it was a one time thing. This has to be incredibly popular.

Step 5 is pretty insane though. It's a 5* 10% ticket applied to the entire 10-pull which is why something like that is possible.

This has no relation to what you posted, but a couple of weeks ago you were talking about running a no "true" tank team, using EV purely for his LB. I was wondering if you've got round to testing it yet and if so what were the results?

- This place really slowed down once Nier ended. I certainly feel less invested, and I actually did get most of what I wanted in a relatively low amount of pulls.

Geez, you think Gumi would at least try to do something to soften the blow on Global. The optics of this are just so bad.

Dunno why they don't just roll out the summon changes at the same time so global people don't jump ship. JP gets crystal change = global gets summon normalization, JP gets 3% = global gets crystal change, jp gets step up = global gets 3%. If not that, just a "Hey Global is pretty cool too!" 1000 lapis would go so far to building back some goodwill. Gumi pretending JP doesn't exist is just the oddest choice. By allowing TM farming they have specifically cultivated a hardcore player population that is acutely aware of every change JP gets.

This is how JP gets to base 6* characters btw. Make the regular summon rate insultingly low like .2% and then have step five be something like 5%. Watch whales rinse and repeat. "Damn! I got another troll Sephiroth!"

Not yet, and it won't be for a while unfortunately. I've only got his lb to lvl15 so far (I need that King pot from next week's explorations) and I still have to TM farm the limit gear to make an lb every turn viable. Even after all that the build will only really work with physical damage. The true end-goal is to get an enhanced WV in there too to have consistent 94% physical and 84% magic reduction from 3 characters. Then the other 3 slots can be basically anyone.

25k lapis is exactly US$160 not counting taxes on JP store.

As mentioned, 25k is really not that much USD. Totally worth it imo. And once GL gets this, it's even cheaper using Amazon Coins.
