Not diggin this. Not diggin this at all.

I finally gave in and upgraded Dark Finas Ultima to plus 2, just so I can easily hit repeat and farm this thing on elt. Had to do it for the mana cost to go through all 5 rounds and the damage. What a god damn pain in the ass. What a waste, Why did I bother. MONTHS of farming the crysts for this??? Exvius sucks.

Oh OK. It was showing up as a banner over the vortex until then, but if you went in it was blank...what timezone should I be using? I was using GMT+9...tried +11 and I think that's when the banner showed up so I must have been ahead of time at +11.

But isn't it fun to encounter something new and unexpected ? I like getting destroyed so i have to create new strategies. On the other hand, fry is still wrecking everything that crosses her way...god i love her.

Just for the record, Ashe totally beats up on Hein. I brought in 3 Ashe and almost one shotted him. The fangs you get were crappy though since it means no bonus units, so I think I'll stick to PRO. But just wanted to pass this along in case anyone was having trouble beating ELT.

so, errr, I got enough lapis to do 1 more round of 10+1 pulls on Sephiroth.

And 10 tickets from the running event.

And I still haven't gotten a single rainbow to show for it.

Current lapis: 0

Hitting rock bottom it hurts!

I guess the game was trying to prepare me for this ELT, with my off banner MAG rainbows during the Nier banner. I'm out of NRG atm, but who would be most useful for this event as a carry?

Seabreeze Dark Fina
837 MAG, 356 MP, 4541 HP

I'm thinking Terra based purely on stats. However, I haven't them yet so IDK if their movesets would override that train of thought.

Onion Knight being absolutely useless against the ELT boss is obnoxious.

You would think the banner units, especially the Rainbow, would actually be useful on the event outside of +Bonus Currency. Dogshit design, Alim/Gumi.

Per Reddit, a 45% SPR break and a 30% MAG buff on a 900ish caster can one-shot Hein with Dualcast Ultima. Whether that's true or not I don't know (yet, waiting on NRG to fine-tune my strat), but basically you're relying on DC Ultima regardless, so Trance Terra.

I don't think this banner is any great shakes. If you have another 5* base chainer (A2, 2B, Veritas of the Dark, Orlandeau, Fryevia, Aileen, Tidus) I'd give it a miss. If you don't, I suppose you could pull, but I'd personally rely on the 9S TMs to carry you through until we get a Player's Choice banner with something attractive on it, or a GL exclusive unit, or something.

Only tried one time on ELT, how is OK useless? Even if we go elementless? Haven't maxed my OK yet.

[JP] 3 rainbows. Lila, Aranea, and Gabranth. I'm ok with Lila but I really need a chainer who's common on my friends list and easy to build, and second Gabranth is beyond useles.

Edit: 4th rainbow, Lil' Rydia. Maybe I can work something with her, Sakura, and Lila (to build LB)? Alim/Gumi really need to add a feature where you can use 6 units. Relying on a friend is so arbitrary.

Wow...I have no words...I was wondering who the Rainbow will be, hoping I finally get that Genji Glove, but was shocked to see Onion Knight! Considering myself incredibly lucky right now. Will make sure I share straight away, even before maxing.

With ring of the lucii and dual cast I could only get my ace to 830 mag. Sadly he wasn't enough on his own to clear elite. Thankfully I had a decently leveled friend onion night and my Aria had Rikku's pouch to get the magic kill; without it dual cast Alterna only managed 81% of his health and had trouble clearing the waves with DC firaga or Enhanced Tri-Beam.

Guess I'll try and see if I can get my Fry's mag high enough to comfortably solo elite.

Edit.
I suppose I could also level Aria with cactuars so she has enough mp to throw the grenade each round.

Don't forget to bust out your World Destroyers for the 35% SPR Breaks. Helps immensely in putting you over the edge into OTKO territory for Hein.

I let WoL do his break on repeat for 1-4 as well and just change Terra to DC Firaga for those.

What on earth where they thinking in making the banner units utterly useless for ELT?

Think I'll just stick to the easiness of Pro.

I have three Saras so the rate isn't awful.

Funny enough, Sara's LB is a MAG buff. Rainbow unit is useless yet the 3* can contribute to a carrier!

Bunch of absolute trash from all the tickets I've used so far. Some Sara's, so I suppose not all a bust. Had enough after some missions for a 11 pull and got just Aria, more Sara's, and garbage.

But yea, I orko the ELT with enhanced DF and friend DF. Going to see if I can do it reliably with my dupe DF who isn't fully enhanced yet.

Silly banner! Congrats to those of you who pulled OK!

O damn, Zera laying the smack down lool.

For me it was just the first run that threw me. Didn't check on the wiki and only had 4 units with me for the challenge, of which none had any form of magic. Went back with Ashe and cleaned him up. Glad I'm not doing pulls on this banner, complete waste.

I was only pulling for 3 banner units for the mog king bonus and I get this guy. I wasnt even planning on pulling on this banner except for that. THATS CRAZY.

I used a total of 5 tickets. This is the first time some crazy stuff has happened to me in this game.
