Assume: (no equipped EVO MAG materias, so base EVO MAG = 60%, all other contraints are the same).

Kid Rydia has a special passive of magnifying the esper's stats junctioned to her specifically by 30% (as a bonus over being able to cast anyone's junctioned espers).

[(2574 + 2899 + 9126 + 9126) * 1.6]^2 * 235 = (37960^2 = 235) = ~338.23 billion base attack

(338.23 / 78.27) = ~432% - 100% = 332% damage increase


It's not even in the same league. Now, that's summoning power. And of course if you really want to go glass cannon, there's always the EVO MAG materias...

Freyvia is still a month plus away before being operational it looks like...

The good thing about Tidus is, his gear is largely interchangable with Orlandu, Aileen, Luneth, Chizzy, etc.

Freyvia is interchangable with TT.

Keep going with Tidus.


On a side note, is anyone failing an odd number of expeditions? I have yet to succeed a single sacred or holy crystal one this week, even if it's at 90. But I have yet to fail a single A or S mission this week too.

Most positive note, going to hit 70 tickets tomorrow, hoping to wake up to Nier Announcement. With the Portal App + Raid, I should be at 80 ^_^. Also will be able to get the support Gians too by tomorrow morning.

Yeah, I was oversimplifying the calcuation to avoid the formula being too lengthy here.

@Jasmin: That's the offensive part of the calculation, which then is lowered considerably through dividing by the enemy's SPR rating. Still, it's a really big number. Which makes sense, as 2* Shiva can do more than 100k to normal enemies through a non-summoner and can do considerably more via an actual summoner.

Most real bosses have high enough defenses to prevent a summoner from straight one-shotting them by themselves. Still, as a finisher, an esper in the right hands could come pretty close to that.

On that note, that was somewhere on the "to do" list. Let me see what I can throw together on training dummy real fast. EDIT: And I just stupidly sent out my chaining units on an expedition like an idiot. Oh well. First thing on the "to do" list tomorrow, after work then.

I've failed a bunch this week as well, but I'm chalking that up to being forced to run more A and B missions than usual. Other than that, just bad RNG there.

Yep. I asked yesterday and was told one and done. I asked because I was worried I wouldn't get them. Of course, I didn't get them. I only got the only blue and Yu on banner. I hated selling the Moogles, especially the Katana one because I had like 40% worth of them. ;_; Going to have to finish off the Blue chicks Trust at some point. Same with the green fairy thing.

I wasn't able to get far enough to get item to make the badass sword from it. But made a few of the lower swords for OK and Wilhelm. And a couple robes -- Bikini Fina and CG Sakura.

Yeah, Aigaion's 150 spr would take down that 33 million base damage a fair bit.
Huh, looking more at the mechanics page; I didn't realize the chain maxed out at 4x multiplier. Although, I guess that makes it easier to get an idea of what an ideal "finish" is.

There's a lot of neat stuff in these mechanics pages. MP recovery as damage is something I'll have to try and remember. I think there was one fight where I wanted to use the ring of the lucii to maintain Cecil's mana but it always popped zero and I was really confused.

Yeah it's been like that since day 1 for me in regards to Holy Crystals. It's like they made it difficult just because they're harder to get in the game and they don't want use to not have to farm them.

Yeah it's been like that since day 1 for me in regards to Holy Crystals. It's like they made it difficult just because they're harder to get in the game and they don't want use to not have to farm them.

On the other hand, I haven't noticed anything peculiar. Tho I have ~150 Holy Crystals so maybe there is that need sensor. Fails come and come, I just focus to get 120 relics and everything after that is bonus. I won't choose Magecite missions, unless they are 3h ones.

I am convinced this is true lol. Whenever you're low on mats and need to farm them they never come.

I'm like you though, I just do any expeditions that come my way. But if I have ones that I like to prioritise like Holy Crystals so I don't have to farm them. After the FF14 raid I had so many cactuars I ended up leveling 6 or 7 units and just depleted my resources, so trying to build back up now.
