[JP Rainbow on the FFIV with a 4* ticket...3rd Nyx.


Edit: Ten normal tickets later, another rainbow. Dark Fina. Dont think youll be displacing CG Sakura newcomer...10 normal tickets 3 4*+, 2 rainbows, 7 golds, 3 blues. One banner gold, two banner blues...that was an incredible run of tickets, nothing massively useful for my account but really Can t complain about that ratio...

I used 11 normal tickets plus 2 4*+ tickets and got

8 blues - 6 of which are on banner, aka Gilbert (Edward)

Has anyone had a look at the event trial coming this week? It says to get the 10k orbs we need to win in 11 turns or more. Do we think that was a mistake and it's supposed to say or less?

Yep that's exactly what he is. Hard to recommend going all-in on a double rainbow banner, but it is a really solid one overall at least. Besides the real prize for NieR is 9S (4*)

Thats nice - only thing that sucks (at least for me) i dont have Dark Cecil TM weapon, but Excalibur. But having a Top Tier chainer that is easy to play with like Orlandu would be great.

Those TMs are great. Its honestly an excellent banner to pull on all around

I just dont have an attachment to the characters. HOWEVER I do like that the gear can upgrade some key units on my team

Veritas TM's are great (dunno about 4* Veritas tm tho). But Iam lazy person and don't want to slot to tm party new units for small improvement in TM / EQ. So I see this TM banner differently. Granted if one doesn't have Creepy Mask then Trick Hat is nice.

I continue to use Siren's Robe

I continue to go with Creepy Mask

Additional effect: Enables use of Boo!

All in all, I see 2 really great TM's in that new banner and rest are good ones.
Problem being those great TM's are 2 Rainbow's that share the banner.
Good luck to all people that are going to use resources and manage to get what they want.

Spot on, and precisely why I am going to try and limit how many pulls I do on this one. I really wouldn't mind DV but with Nier lingering I really can't afford to blow everything on it.

Maybe Noctis tank, but usually NoCtank is build by 100% evade and prolly via Dual Wield.

Ok it is 40% atk, so its 10% more than those 30% materias we do have in use now. So the use is purely by the raw atk (max atk) and forget that it has something if you happen to equip shield.

I just like evade.

There are shitton of decent robes after Siren's Robe. Everyone can get these 2.

Obviously everyone is in a different position in the game, but I'm at the point where BiS is all I really need, and as across pointed out the other day it's why I stopped doing daily pulls. But more than just the TM Victoria is a really good 4* unit which is something I think people are overlooking. I'm not saying to chase any unit but I think people are down playing their value a little.

Personally I wish Gumi had never told us we are getting Nier early. I feel like people are over hoarding because of it.

Ugh, double 5* again. Gumi seems to be making this into a habit. This could get expensive. Essentially a 0.25% chance to get Veritas of the Dark.

Gumi may be testing us to see how much people are willing to spend on double 5*s. Gumi knows that people are waiting for Nier banner (which may be another double 5* banner). I'm sure this current FFT event was a huge failure.

The main reason I want Veritas of the Dark of Dark is his TM; I have way too many physical attack chainers, which I never use anyway. I might just devote 100-200 pulls to this banner and wait till Nier (which I want just because I like Nier).

They really shouldn't have announced Nier so far out, as people are going to horde lapis and tickets. I can't see it being good for business.

Gumi not adding Balthier because of power sounds to just be an excuse.

Veritas of Fire is very similar to pre-enhanced Balthier. He has a 1,000% "Finishing blow" that is triggered as a counter; like Balthier. They both also add elemental attacks to themselves (Balthier getting thunder, water, fire, light while Veritas of Fire can add earth, wind, darkness and fire).

The biggest difference is that Baltheir has slightly higher base attack, and Veritas of Fire is harder to equip right given that the best axe in the game is a water element (Viking Axe), and the rest of the axes are lackluster.

The problem with that logic is you're not ever guaranteed to pick them up off banner. Celegus is still hoping to get an off banner WoL. Until very recently I had never received a Garland which is a 3* base. You're not guaranteed to pick them up on banner ofc but if you want a particular unit I do believe banner is your best shot, especially because the pool has become so diluted now and is only going to get more clustered.

Personally I'm going to drop my usual 20 tickets chasing Victoria. We have few chaining mages atm so it'll be good to have her in my roster if I'm lucky enough to pick her up.

The issue is..
You want one 9s at least in the nier banner..
The rest is cherry picking, but 9s is a must and it's a 4*..
Instead dark veritas is sitting on a banner with a double 5*.. normally you don't chase a 5* but when it's a dual 5* on banner it's gonna rain blood and tix and money...

My plan was to extract 2x 9S and 2x 21O from Nier, then all-in on this Veritas banner, which I expected to be next week, after Nier. Gumi flipped the script on me; Lyrian already very accurately covered why they did this.

Thinking I'll devote the bulk of my resources to Dark Veritas and keep 1-2 multis back for Nier. Sorry 2B!

2B is good, but she isn't "great". Her TM however is nice as it's at least at the moment going to be the most powerful Katana. 9S is who you really want her/him/it (not sure haven't played it yet) TM is crazy good.
