Not sure why you would mention holy? Also Cura is a GOAT on that guy.
Why would it reward you for two conflicting things? They made a similar mistake earlier.

For synergy bonuses, does it matter if a character is using the same-record weapon, like Rydia (IV) using a Black Robe (IV), or does the bonus for equipment ONLY apply when anyone is using it in that Record (in this case, FF IV)?

Yep, every time they mean holy they say fire. I'm sure they'll fix the text later, but for the first boss you have to heal it and use fire, and for the latter one (use "fire" & don't use fire), you have to heal it and not use actual fire. Why would it reward you for two conflicting things? I'm guessing this is another instance of the game saying fire when it means holy.
For the final boss of this event,am I supposed to attack him at all or just wait for him to go away?
So is dark cecil worth using or leveling up? I guess you get paladin cecil (light cecil?) at the end? I'm a fan of cecil in either case.

Dark Cecil is essentially Sephiroth light, if you don't have Sephiroth he's a good replacement (same basic stat lineup, just a little lower). Or if you want someone who'll be good while tackling the annoying-as-hell FFIV elite dungeons he's also a good replacement there. I'll actually likely level him over Pally Cecil because he's too 'slow' (low attack - high defense. Most fights need to be won with lots of damage and tanky heroes are kind of lower tier IMO)
He has a higher mind stat than Tyro. Here's the comparison chart I was looking at:How does light paladin Cecil compare up Tyro? I really want a new healer

What is the difference between the Magic stat and the Mind Stat? The light staff boosts tyros mind, but he still hits for shit.
Considering white Cecil has a strong defense rating I think that automatically makes him a better healer. As he can take much more damage before the news to heal himself.

Benefit to Dark Cecil is that he can use swords which means he has more access to good equipment. There are a lot of 5 Star swords too, lol
At the last dungeon of the Cecil event. Migth put that on pause and do some daily dungeon farming instead. Thoughts?
Might as well right? You got plenty of time to finish up Cecil.
So I beat Hundred Gunner and got DK Cecil. Things are looking up. Though I think I need to concentrate on finishing up the Shinra event... to do so I need more L. Dark Orbs for Dark Attack. But I kinda also want Double Cut... *whine*
Okay I need Lesser Power/Holy/Wind/Lightning Orbs for Cura, Jump, Double Cut and Thundara. Are the different Daily's a good place to do them or are the FFVI dungeons more Stamina efficient?
I'm tempted to drop Tifa from my party and use drk Cecil instead. Her low defense has gotten her one/two shot in elites and hard dailies more than once. I'll miss her speed though. Dunno.
IMO FF6 seems to have been more efficient for me... They cost 5 mana and I generally get 1-2 orbs I need per run. Normal dailies drop mostly 1* orbs so you have to farm Hard mode which costs twice as much stamina and depending on your level are not great for farming any way
Just got to the 8th Station on Mount Ordeals. Stamina costs have risen to 10 now.. better get ready for some crazy boss that my party is not equipped to fight on the 9th Station.
My Dark Cecil is rocking a 2* Mythril Dagger or something. I haven't gotten any decent weapons from pulls.. I think my 4* Whip is my only one over 3.
There is someone who's sole job it is to crunch these kinds of numbers, while they could be wrong, they generally have a pretty good idea of what they're doing.
Whales are going to whale regardless of price, and they're going to be making up 90% of this game's revenue... It's a tried and true method proven over the last 6-7 years in mobile gaming.

Thinking of doing the same, if only because Dark Knight Cecil will be a lot more useful in FFiV elites which I'm still slowly plowing through.
Is the Chocobo summon spell exactly the same as Rydia's regular Chocobo summon Soul Break?
Geez, you weren't kidding about this. Orbs dropping from the sky like rain.
Only need 2 more L. Wind Orbs for Doubt Cut lets goooooooo
Planning on using both Cecils in my party for a bit. Only got DK Cecil so far but now I'm getting the Growth Egg glitch in my game.
I just want to feed Cecil dozens and dozens of eggs so he grows strong. :-(
I don't think you can use growth eggs for party members (if that is the glitch you are having) you have to take 'em out.
