I gotcha. Maybe I need to practice the Retaliate strategy some more, but I feel like I take way more hits from enemies just trying to get it set up. Even afterward, to an extent, because I have to make sure I'm always tapping the right character for my attacks.
Cyan delivered an accidental Double Cut to Rydia earlier and it was not pretty.

Yeah, I'm drowning in wind and ice from celes event and earth from vector streets. Need power black and non elementals in a quantity greater per stam than the daily.

Okay I'm more than likely missing something, but why does everyone want Non Elementals so bad? I've now gotten enough to hone Power/Armour Break and Comet to 4 uses which I really needed, but now that I've got them I'm just gonna cycle the full event instead of the 2nd stage. Is there any other real need for them apart from those?
I wanted Dark and Venom Buster for the dinosaur, and I want all my breaks at 4/5. The bottleneck for everything are the Non-Elemental orbs.
I personally didn't get many of those from the game yet and I still need my honed break spells, and that means a lot of orbs, so I'm starving for those.
Ah I forgot about Dark and Venom. I'll need to get enough to hone them at least once. I'm only bothering with Power/armour because I've created Magic/Mental Breakdown. I suppose I could hone them as well since the two 4* abilities won't be honed anytime soon. Back to repeating then.
For Black Orbs, farm Ultros (i refuse to call him Orthros, get that blasphemy out of here) and Typhon in FF6 Airship Classic. It's the 2nd to last stage in the painting, so it doesn't end the run. You can farm it over and over again for 7 stamina, has about a 40% drop rate for 3* Black Orb. Let me know if you find a good spot for 3* Power Orbs.

Only Gravity truly breaks the 9999 damage cap.
They'll probably add a break damage thing in the future, let's just hope it's an ability and not a 5* equipment...
People said in the Japanese wiki that 1st floor of Figaro Castle is good for lesser power orb. I haven't tried myself.

I've done this one at least 7 times and have gotten 4 whips and no orbs.
I did it 8 times and got 5 orbs. Definitely legit, but ymmv with streaks

Nowhere. Stick with the daily or work on levelling up so you're strong enough to farm it.

It exists in a couple of places, but it's rare enough that you're likely to dump an entire bar of stamina and maybe not even get 1. So yea, nowhere. :-/ really sucks. You can check here for a list of all the locations: http://ffrk.wikia.com/wiki/Orb_Locations

I HAVE CELES. Right before the event was over too. Finally. I was at a pretty low level so I could only grind the normal/easy dungeons.

Bit the bullet and grinded the Celes event for more Memories, enough to get the Hero Ring. I'm calling it quits now though and focusing on other stuff.
She provides some variety. Her biggest strength is her 5* Spellblade ranking.
