About to hit up the famous Temple of the Ancients.
Still so in love with this game.
My crew is 41-42. Aeris Knows Great Gospel.
I cant get enough of the music, I sit around in some areas just listening to it, remember a younger Abylim, and a different time.
My parents were fighting pretty bad, and my sisters were so upset all the time.
So we played FF7. At first it was them watching me, but then my Older sister made a save and started playing when I wasnt. We'd make up little lyrics to match some of the music in game, good times.
Parents ended up divorcing, and disc 3 got wrecked when one of them threw the PS1 at the other.
I bought another copy, and played the shit out of it, beating it a few times, trying to understand more of what the game had to offer. So many hidden things, and I wasnt really allowed any net time back then, so we were on our own.
I dont know, it wasnt my first FF, wasnt even the first game I played where I got attached to the characters, but something about this game meshed with me hard.
It's probably my favourite game of all time, and I was worried that maybe I wouldnt like it in this day and age. Just finished Witcher 3, a gorgeous game.
I started this up and was just charmed by the shitty lego/horse hooves.
Yeah, it probably helps that I loved it as a kid, but I have revisited some older games and couldnt muster a play through. I think FF7 has stood the test of time, and it still remains one of my favourite games ever.
Playing this brings up a lot of memories, good and bad, but I am enjoying the moment.
Looking forward to the Remake, whether its in 3 installments or 10!
Now sitdown and have your GODDAMN cup of TEA!!
