Instant paradigm shifting is soooo amazing.
What exactly did they change about Paradigm from the first game.

Lack of dumbass camera pans, and also lack of long leader animations to signal the change! What exactly did they change about Paradigm from the first game.

Definitely. The long animations and camera pans reduced efficiency and speed. I disliked it a lot. Nice to see an improvement here. Now to see if they made any tweaks or improvements to the system or animations.Fantastic. That was, surprisingly, my one big gripe about the battle system in FF XIII. That's the change it needed to have proper flow.
When the person failed to hit it before it ran out, the enemy had both a defense and strength buff.If you fail, would the enemies get buffs themselves, or is this wishful thinking on my part?
That's what I like to hear. When the person failed to hit it before it ran out, the enemy had both a defense and strength buff.
Also now more confirmed (because of where this streamer is) is the reuse of music from XIII, so it's not only the music on the OST that's in-game.
This was kinda mentioned before, but it's in there nicely.
The track was Separate Paths from XIII.
Yeah! That's what was crossing my mind and I couldn't put my finger on the game. There are aggressive mixes for most of the areas that work in a Skies of Arcadia dynamism where it flows from the regular theme into battle seamlessly.
Wow, that Live Trigger thing is everywhere. Did not expect it to be so frequent.
Same I thought it would only be in certain important conversations.
Also, both their weapons seem to change with paradigm role too, so maybe it's different per role?I didn't realise Serah was wielding a two-handed sword. That'll slow down her Attacker speed. Noel's initial attack takes time, but it seems like he speeds up between the last two.

...I need to find my stopwatch. This is bugging me. But a stream wouldn't be the best thing to test it on because of lag and stuff.
Er... dumb question regarding the Moogle Clock, but... is it the way that the player is playing it that he's missing the enemy sometimes, or is the control kind of weird for that bit?
Does anyone know the install size on the PS3?

No install, similar to FFXIII.
I completely missed the Defender one if there was a change, but at this point it seems so.Also, both their weapons seem to change with paradigm role too, so maybe it's different per role?
Ugh. I noticed that, but I thought that was the player himself. That's kind of disappointing. :/Kagari said:The camera sometimes gets janky in those parts.

Watching someone else play FFXIII-2 is a surprisingly similar experience to playing FFXIII yourself.

What do you mean?
That it reminds me how much FFXIII played itself, particularly for the first few chapters.
This is a step in the right direction wrt animation.
So, is the soundtrack that comes with the collector's the FULL soundtrack? As in, not a bundled arrangement that will be rendered incomplete when a stand alone soundtrack release happens?
