When they removed gob trains things weren't the same again. That magic was lost. You know this in your soul to be true.
One of my most terrifying memories playing XI was falling down the first hole at Garlaige Citadel to that hellhole of wights bellow. I had just leveled and didn't want to lose being able to wield my new Dark Staff. After like 20 minutes of shouting for help, a group of JP players came out of the darkness, who by my level could tell what had happened. They signaled me to follow and a while later I was breathing the fresh air again. That was during my first month playing the game.

...Were you on Kujata in XI, and now on Sargatanas?
Yup. I moved around quite a bit but originally started on Kujata.
Updated the game client and now I am ready for my first taste of FFXIV:ARR.
Come on servers, please go up before I go to work.
How do you open up Halatali?
ThanksIn the burning sands there's an NPC on a different path on the way to.. The Solar I think it's called?
Anyone know how to continue the Limsa sotry line after completing the Lominsian Escort mission? I see a red key quest that I can't access yet but after searching all the maps and visiting everywhere I have no more story missions nor do I know where I am supposed to go next. Also where is the dye quest?
The guard that let you in to talk to the ul'dah leader gives you the next quest. I heard the num pad arrows are the same as the controller dpad by default. Is there any way on keyboard to cycle all targets and not just enemies? I know you can change the filters so you have targeting mode set to "all". But the "TAB" keybind is still defaulted to "cycle through enemies". And in that keybind page, I can't see anything that talks about cycling through other types of targets.
It's always "nearest" or "last" or "next". Want to be able to cycle through NPCs or PCs if needed.
(Either that or I've cocked something up by messing with the controls too much xD )

How long is the test up for?
Sorry -- not sure about the LL storyline mission, but the dye quest is in Vesper Bay. You'll need an orange juice to complete the quest so you might want to pick one of those up to start/finish it all at the same time when you get to Vesper Bay.

That sounds legit awesome, one of the things I love a good mmo experience for.One of my most terrifying memories playing XI was falling down the first hole at Garlaige Citadel to that hellhole of wights bellow. anyone know who to speak to for Thousand Maws of Toto-Rak?
Haha last minute beta invite from PSN messages last night! Really stoked to try it later tonight.
So is there voice chat or an easy to use message system for console players?
Thanks. You need to just go to entrance and speak to the guard. Its in the black shroudnorth of camp tranquil
Im fine with different sets of gear for different situations, planning ahead. I'm not fine with doing it mid-fight.
Question Gaf, for those of you who pre-ordered the game in Canada. Did you get a code or something with your pre-order for the early access?
Ehh :/Nope. Better have a keyboard for your PS3 or a laptop/PC to run VOIP with on the side.
Whats the fastest way to farm Company Seals? Need 15k for a cocobo and already did all the Grand Company stuff in all 3 regions.

Dynamis was coma inducing.
Is anyone else finding it a little awkward* managing their inventory and armory?
I love the convenience of it in principle, but it seems to be seriously lacking a 'Sort by' function in its current implementation, or an option to grey out all non-equippable gear.
*And I do mean just a little awkward, it's not super-annoying or anuything. I suppose this 'Sort by' thing is standing out to me though because it's pretty much the one thing in the game which is the source of some (albeit minor) frustration to me.

Chocobo is only 1k seals, you must be mistaken for something else. I don't think there's anything that costs 15k in the low ranks anyway.
Yeah I misread something. Already got itIs there something to do after you finish this quest besides rerunning the dungeons?
Also thanks for the other answers.
Hey, got a little bit of a problem the CE for the PC version is already fully booked but not the PS3 version so I am wondering can you buy PS3 version and play on PC ?

Only if you buy the PC version or have a retail code for the PC version.

Why is there no auto-translate for spells? Like if I wanted to tell someone to Sleep or Repose an enemy, I can't find those in the auto-translate...
zzz "skill" "please use it" ?
I am sure they will add them before launch though.
