Have you been doing story quests and class quests? Havent run into this problem.
Just go kill some stuff. If you kill a mob your level or higher you will get chains, keep chaining them until time runs out. I have leveled my other classes from 1-4 in like 10 min doing this when starting out.
Alt+R.
Run around all the parts of whatever town you are in, and also around the areas outside of it, the sanctuary/mini-towns along the roads have NPCs with more quests. I am level 8 and have not run out of quests yet.
This actually seems to save between sessions. I logged on earlier and noticed i could alt-r till i could see people I messaged last week.

What's wrong with this picture? I think those graphics look pretty amazing. Unless you're being sarcastic? I can't tell.
The ground stuff is kinda laughable in its quality, and the (lack of?) AA doesn't help, but the game can look pretty nice at times.
It doesn't look any better in game.
I'll look in to SweetFX and see if the AA from that helps at all.

So earlier today I got to do the two dungeons as a tank, tam tara and the copperbell mines. Man they were fun, much better then the first dungeon last week. I had no idea what to expect and was kept on my toes trying to hold hate on all the adds. This game has come a long way since 1.0.
My only problem is that no one really talked in the both the server shouted, and the duty finder party I was in. The duty finder party especially felt like it was just all business no fun. So for now using the duty finder definitely feels like a last resort, joining a good free company and making on server friends or playing with real friends is the way to go.

The only time I used the Duty Finder we all got along great and the party gave me tanking tips because it was my first time tanking in an MMO

Pick any race you want, this game isn't like ff11 where picking a certain race is bad for a certain job.

Sweet, picked the right one then. Since beginning MMO with EverQuest I've done nothing but tank or heal. DPS just bores me to tears.

But cat girl is master race, so be a cat girl.

The whole "this player is an instance so your super long /tell was just deleted" thing is getting old. Why can't I communicate with people in an instance?

Not like FFXI was particularly bad except for the fringes but even then, gear made up for it.
I'm really surprised after playing a few hours now. I've previously played the very first alpha for ARR and its changed quite a lot since then but I also played in the original beta and launch, and while some of the mechanics have been brought over everything seems to be completely new.
I'm playing a Conjurer and really liking the combat, its borrowed a number of mechanics from WoW but also kept the "Final Fantasy" feel to it. Quests are pretty good, which is one thing that stuck out like a sore thumb in the original launch. I did have to utilise a macro that repeatedly clicked left mouse button to skip a lot of the dialog so having some form of skip would be nice.
Graphics look intense, even better than the original release which is some kind of feat I guess. I'll be interested to see how this all translates into release and if it piques my interest with the dungeons and raids I might pony up the $11 or whatever it was for one character slot.

Mind if I ask how you got yours working (file location, EXE used, etc)? I'm a total noob to Sweet FX and couldn't figure it out. I tried putting all the EXE files in and it doesn't make a lick of difference.
Phase 4 characters will not be wiped. We are still in Phase 3.

I just hit Lvl. 15 with my Conjurer and I'm a bit confused as to what should be my main focus going forward to Lvl. 30.

Been waiting for almost an hour and no e-mail.
I got mine earlier today in less than 5 minutes, but it was when the link was up for the first time.
However, now that I'm in the game, I feel like I have to take a Motrin just to get rid of my headache from trying to figure out this damn map. Oh man this is frustrating.

how do you change the color of your equipment? ive seen where you can buy the dye, do you have to do a crafting skill to be able to do it?
The schedule said the fourth test would last longer and they didn't reveal the end date when they originally posted the schedule like they have done in every test so far so everyone assumed this test would be longer. It also means we have at least one more test of phase 3.
People were hopeful that this test would go on longer, since initially it didn't have an end time like the others.
Well, we were supposed to get the Duty Finder last week, which obviously didn't happen. So they could just be a week behind on the beta stuff, and it'll be the fifth test that lasts longer.
...Or it won't because there was never supposed to be a "fifth test."
