Picking a server has to be the crappiest thing when starting a MMO.

Hard to say which one will have the best community and pugs.

Can't se how, they want ex FF11 players to beable to play together, PUG's will make no difference as the party mechanics are broken unless the OB/retail version has changed drastically.

It's hard to say which will have the best community when starting a new game anyway.

Let's just pick something other then Shadowlord for OB. It seemed to be down more and suffer more lag b/c it was at capacity most of the time. I guess it's no surprise the server named after a FFXI villain filled the quickest.

Also they're letting you save your OB name into release, if your creating on the same server. So that's something to consider when choosing, I guess. But unless you wanna be Cloud Strife, I don't really see the point. If someone has your first name, you could always change your last.

Yeah me and some friends are doing Garland for the release because we dont think itll be too packed. We did Emperor for the beta and that was good too.

Me neither. It makes communicating with other players all the more tedious. I wish it was an option only on RP servers or something.

Garland was pretty empty in CB3, least when I was on it. But who knows how many people will pack it for OB, but i know Shadowlord, Sephiroth and Kefka were all 3 chocobo at one point.

My ears weren't cut off, the hat had this little holes so the ears could get through.

And I think what happened with the bug was that I killed the Chigoe at the same time that the Chigoe killed me, so the messages were triggered at the same time and then got mixed up.

The whole thing looks like it was done-over in post, to be honest. Even the environment has a really nice enhanced-edges look to it that isn't present when you're actually there in the game. Almost cel-shaded-esque. Looks really nice there.

I think it's because of the colors. They're wearing brightly colored clothes and carrying bowls of bright green stuff which really stand out against the completely gray city. Plus we haven' really seen bright clothes/equipment like that in beta.

I'm still not convinced. There's too many ugly faces around. And in the trailer there's no sight of Sleipnir or even more importantly Zantetsuken.

Unless you want to be attacked by massive porn, don't go there!! Its everywhere. I'm sure some don't care. I couldn't stay on the site for 1 moment more after it loaded up. Is there a way to block those images and just see the model viewer stuff? I really wanted to see the dats.

All the lv70+ stuff are most likely placeholders at this time. Just as so many spells could were on FFXI and besides being on the dats for so long, they worked with /recast.

Yeah. If SE changes the names then I don't really care what server gets chosen.
I kinda hope they don't use Summon names like in FFXI or everyone would just choose the same server they were on in XI (like all my friends/LS going back on Alexander).
