This is what really gets me. Are we really expected to check out all the market wards? Or did they say there will be a search?

They said they're "considering" implementing "improvements" to the retainer system. It's like they actually thought it was a good before player feedback.

Honestly the "no AH" was more of a real deal-breaker for me then their "fatigue" announcement. Their market system was universally condemned by the testers since day one, but it was always assumed that the AH would be there. Since they confirmed there wouldn't be an AH the outcry against the retainer system has gotten even worse. The whole system is garbage, even if they implemented a search system.

Prices were already outrageous in the beta for some gear. Imagine how much things will be during retail when our wallets wont be wiped with each phase.

anyone noticed a BIG bug with large parties. if theres two or more of any time of job, only one person gets class points and takes the other identical jobs class points as well.

I was just receiving 4 lots of thaumaturge points in a big alliance where there were 3 other thaumas and they didnt receive any points.

I just saw this on the beta forums, if this is true LOL.

Working as intended. When a party grows to a certain size with more than two of a class, one is randomly picked to receive all of the skill points until they fatigue. Then the rest are put into surplus for each of the other party members.

Players will be able to transfer their character names from the FINAL FANTASY XIV Open Beta Test to the official release. As long as the Worlds selected in the open beta test and the official release are the same, the character name used in the open beta test will be usable in the official release.

If a different World is selected, the player will be unable to transfer the character name, and possibly unable to create a new character with that name.

Please note that only the character's name can be transferred. Other data such as physical levels and items cannot be transferred.

*Upon the transfer of player character name, both selection of the world and character name input need to be done properly. Please make sure to remember both the world you belonged to and the name of the character you used during the Open Beta Test.
*With the character name that has been determined to be improper by Square Enix, the transfer may not be done.
*After the open beta test has concluded, the character names still existing on the account will be transferrable.

Need to choose a server right now :D (if the server list is the same as B3)

Sweet! Btw, was the servers are cross-region or not? Have a feeling that most people in this thread are Americans so it would be nice if they would allow that.

Didn't Shadowlord have problems a lot of times? I say we just pick a new server and roll with it.

I just hope the GAF linkshell is a little bit more communicative in retail. :lol

Shadowlord
Emperor
Garland
Golbez
Exdeath
Kefka
Sephiroth
Ultimecia
Jecht
Gabranth

It's been noted on other boards it'd probably be a good idea to stay away from Sephiroth. :lol Probably Kefka too. I personally like the sound of Emperor.

LOL, I remember there was a guy over on BG who went on and on about sitting in a chair.. guess he got his wish.

I'm wondering if there is a third party program we can use to bind <p1> - <p6> to Function keys. (meh nevermind its not target commands), wonder if /targetp1 works.

No mention of ctrl + R to reply to and scroll through the last few people to message you, would make a massive difference especially considering the surname thing. (I guess <r> will have to do)

It's either JP or the EU one (I think they are the same). I hope the making of DVD isn't just the Making of a Realm videos that are on youtube.
