SE and marketing... Time for a party

wait is that the body model for cindy in front?

I hope this ATR sheds more light on what we should be expecting at E3, rather than just update stuff.

well last time they said maybe a short trailer. We really shouldn't be expecting much of XV at E3. It's likely to be less than a minute trailer so I don't think they should spoil us.

I highly doubt it'll be less than a minute... it's not like they'll show a teaser so that'd be pointless. Something around 2 minutes or so I'd understand, and I think that's a tad bit more realistic.

I wonder what the reasoning behind skipping E3 for gamescom is.

If whatever they're showing tonight/E3 is just more Duscae region, I'll be kind of disappointed.

Remember, they are skipping E3 this year. They said the short trailer will be to tease for gamescom trailer. Their normal trailers (Since Tabata fully took over) have been around 2 minutes 30 seconds, so I think you will be very disappointed expecting around 2 minute trailer at E3.

This is short trailer they did at 2010 back in Versus days.

Not ready to start the full promotion. I think today's ATR will be mostly about the demo 2.0, so I think it will most likely be about Duscae region again..

I highly doubt they'll show new footage. It's probably a play through of the updated demo with commentary about the changes. Maybe they'll show the new side quest where you have to split up the party.
Who knows, they might have a short teaser for the teaser they're planning to show at E3 for the gamescom one which hopefully is a more story focused one finally showing other characters and clarifying the whole Stelluna thing.

Not expecting much for today.

There's setting up reveal for Gamescon which is just a few weeks away from E3 it's entirely possible will hear almost nothing about XV at E3. SE has a lot going on with FF XIV, Hitman, Deus Ex, Just Cause, Tomb Raider. IMO its going to be very Western focused E3 for SE.

Because it's true Nomura is not involved in XV.

still his game on many ways = World, story, concept

i think he should get more credit, than only character designer.

If this game turns out to be a huge success...he should also get a fair share of the the credit

We even don't know how much of the world he designed or rather how much of that had actual assets and wasn't in his head on or paper.

Edit:

Dissidia story writer on XV script whelp.

The nature of a credit is that it's something you recieve for the work you do. It's objective. Nomura is not the director; it doesn't get any simpler than that.

Who is Itamura?

Seems like a lot of KH/Versus XIII staff is still in. No mention of Jun Akiyama, but no mention of event director as well I think.

Lol, you and I both know that isn't true. It may be at this moment, but its still his vision and was for 8 years of its entire life. He was the one who showed up at E3 2013, not Tabata.

Yes and SE removed him from this project for a reason and now he's not involved in it. If they cared for his input he would have stayed on the team.

Should've called this stream Tabata doesn't give a shit about the colleagues LIVE

What, no, I'm pretty sure that word above character design means original idea/work or something along those lines.

Yeah, that's it. Sort of a "Based on ideas by" credit.

They mentioned Nomura created the world, characters and story, which later was fleshed out from there. How is this disrespect?

Nomura worked on this as well as other projects.

And he'll get all the recognition he deserves and more with KH3.

If you're helming a project and it gets stuck in development hell forever to the point where they have to replace you, that's not good.
