ya tues and friday, we didn't get them translated yet it seems. Unless I missed it somewhere.

Haven't seen anything about the Friday update in this thread, but Rin posted this on Mognet:
New official blog update and interview up (waiting for official SE English translation). This time Taji interviews 2D artist Kaoru Kawaguchi, who's in charge of unnamed NPCs.
- 10 people comprise of XV's art group. They create drawings (cities, residents, cars, miscellaneous items, etc.) that then get translated into CG.
- Within the dev team, people separate NPCs into 2 categories: NNPCs (named NPCs) and UNPCs (unnamed). Kawaguchi's in charge of the latter.
- NNPCs are related to the story in some way. (Kawaguchi used an example and said something about a bar owner "Taji" being a NNPC, but don't take my word on whether a bar owner will be a significant character in XV lol)
- XV's art is done and in good shape for the most part, but she still handles sudden requests from time to time. She wasn't expecting an interview at all (lol)
- Everything is given thought, from the clothing, to the cities they live in, their lifestyles, etc. Down to the pockets and textures that go in their clothing design. lol
- Kawaguchi went around asking people in suits to show her the pockets in their behind areas XD
Kawaguchi's pen tablet broke in the middle of the interview, apparently. She says it often happens, perhaps because she's nervous.

I feel like Final Fantasy though has always had great art direction and consistency for the most part.

It is nice to get these small details about Final Fantasy XV because we don't need any major reveals with the March event coming up. I like hearing about the art design and small details like that.

I can't believe we are going to know the release date. It feels like a dream lol. It will hit more once I'm sitting at the uncovered event and staring at the screen.

I just don't want too much to get spoiled :/ I don't want to have glimpses of all the major turning points of the story or the CGI cinematics.
If it's something like FFXIII's TGS 2007 trailer in terms of spoiler-level I wouldn't mind.

This is how I feel. The Uncovered event will be enough for me. After that, blackout until the game releases. I'm going to try to stay away from new news but it's going to be hard for me

that being said what would you like to see in a collectors edition?
I just hope it's not as bland as the one Tabata did for Type 0.

But a LE box art like that one (black background and zoomed outline of the logo) would be cool as hell.
