Because I wasn't really a hater to begin with. As I mentioned long time ago, all I need was one good trailer to get me hyped for the game again. We didn't just had one good trailer here, we also received some pretty interesting update/improvement on the game mechanics. How can I not be on board again?

Well, partly. I really did think Persona 5 UI was some of the best I've seen, and FFXV's felt like it was designed by an intern...overnight. But of course that doesn't actually indicate the game's actual quality. Truth be told, I believe it's still going to be hard for FFXV to surpass P5 in overall critical reception unless this March event is out of the world.
