Amazon and UPS hates me. It's supposed to be delivered tomorrow, but UPS's own website says Wednesday. 
Really pissed. Almost tempted to just go to Gamestop and buy a copy tomorrow, but that'd be silly and a waste of money.

Ahhh, okay well that's not too bad
. I noticed very, very little frame pacing judder in the lightweight mode included in the judgement disc demo so I'll be more than happy with a solid 30 fps until then. Thanks for the info!

What is the current status of the game if you run it on a Pro? Are there any options? Does it have awful frame pacing issues that there is no way to get rid of in any mode?

Damn. Mine is shipping from Pennsylvania and I live in Georgia. :-/ It's going 2nd Day Air, though. I did Live Chat with Amazon, but they said there was nothing they could do.
I seriously doubt it.
I'm really liking this game, I've only played 1,5 hours, but everything in that short amount of time was fun.
Combat is fun, graphics look alright (is not Uncharted 4 tier graphics, but is not an ugly looking game either) and story is interesting.
Ps4 performance seems to be solid 30fps. Even with 30fps, it looks smooth imo.

Get a PS4. Get FFXV!
$212 is a STEAL. Uncharted 4 is GOTY.
Even if you wind up not enjoying FFXV that much, you will have the ability to play FFXHD, FFXIIHD, KH2.8, KH1.5+2.5, KH3, P5, FF7R, Tales, tons of other JRPG's.
And The Last of Us 2.

there is some frame pacing (not as bad as the demo) in the HQ mode, but LQ ran smooth.
those are the 2 only modes on pro, since HDR works on ps4/s/Pro

Mine switched to "preparing for shipment" and still says it'll be here for tomorrow, so who knows whats going on with Amazon.

I guess it's fitting after 10 years that I wait two more days. But I sure don't want to >:-(
You'll see, I don't even know how people can justify the second half of the game, the potholes, incoherence, characters that are totally disappearing without any resolution etc... it's a mess.
I'm not saying more and I'm ready for the meltdown that will happen soon enough.
On Chapter 3, up to Lestallum so far.
My impressions so far:
+Gameplay is so much fun, and there's so much variety to it. Both combat and exploration are a joy.
+Game is beautiful, there's so many beautiful vistas, often I stop to admire Eos
+Music is 100/10
+Monsters are also 100/10
+The bros. And on that note, Prompto's photos are really growing on me. The more I see them the more I like this feature.
-Camera can be messy at times, even on open fields, sometimes a bush or tree gets in the way in the middle of a battle.
-Cutscenes so far lack 'punch'? Example: Reuniting with
was not emotional at all. Glad should be relieved as fuck to see her, and they should be bombarding her with questions about Insomnia, yet...none of that happens.
-I'm still not sold on the opening. It felt as if in FF7 the game started after Midgar. And that includes teaching you how to play (and no, sparring with Gladio following a bunch of tutorials is not fun, therefore I skipped it). The Insomnia invasion would've been such a perfect excuse to teach you how to play.
Other notes on the game:
* Field music is great, but unable to hear it while driving. I wish there was a CD for this, or that field music played when radio was off.
* Lots of places are very well designed, but why are some of them so desolate? Like a farm I ran across near Duscae. Not one soul is sight. IMO they could add a bit of life to them.
* Dem bugs need to be fixed. I ran into one where the obtained AP textbox would not disappear until a story cutscene removed it. I have confidence that SE is addressing them on the patches. It's not as buggy as a recently released Bethesda game, so do not panic.
* A first person mode would be lovely for screenshots/timelapses. This game is just too beautiful to look at.

To be fair, imo, it was only semi gone for one entry
For everyone worried about getting their game from Amazon on time. Every single release day shipping game I've ever bought from them ships the day/night before. I've never had an issue getting it after the shipping day.
Now keep in mind, I'm surrounded by Amazon warehouses in southern Indiana and some in Kentucky. Also UPS's main hub is in my city. The worst part is that it will ship and be out for delivery, but UPS won't show up until after 6 or even as late as 8. That is the part that sucks...knowing it is sitting on a truck all day and then I have to wait X amount of hours for the game to install/download patches.
I still think everyone that ordered from Amazon and it states it will arrive by 8pm Tuesday should be fine as long as your payment information is up to date.

lmao this is great. FFXV is hype! This EU livestream is so odd. The interviews with the cosplayers was awkward as fuck.
