Weird question, but is the season pass available to everyone already? Because before, on PSN, it was written that it was only for those who bought the digital version.

For those who have the guidebook, is there an item where Noctis uses so that he doesn't level up at all?

I don't wanna level up too fast lol

Guys, I highly recommended to purchase all the key items through the various outposts, some will have unique one that might be needed in a sidequest, so make sure you already buy them from every shop. Saves the hassle of travelling again.

Really recommend inventing in some techniques first, i made the mistake of just trying to turn noctis into an action game protagonist, but some of the techniques are really good.

Fishing always sucks. Always.

If you guys want upgradeable weapons, then you can get majority of them in Cape Caem by sowing the carrots and selling it to the restaurant owners.

Quick question, I just moved to Japan and I ordered the Japanese version of the game.

Does the Japanese version have English text as an option or is it Japanese only?

My game arrives tomorrow, so yeah. :p

It's on psn, $25. The 10% off code still works if you haven't used it yet.

Okay fishing sucks .

Shame you think that way. I hated it at first but once you get the hang of it it's actually quite fun.

I second this. Also - never sell treasure unless you've got duplicate items. You need some randomly spawned items to upgrade your weapons and searching for them again can be a right chore.

I'd also recommend buying all soundtracks from shops if you are a FF buff like me because finding individual ones you want can be a chore too

Did someone get the Collector's Guide? Is it worth it?
Come on man what even is this? Who the hell even knows this game? :p
I played this all the time as a kid. Still do it now occasionally on 3DS VC. It's great.

Can't do aerial battle because camera goes apeshit and I lose track. So is better to just wait on the ground for parries, which makes it boring. D tier shit boss, not even DMC 2 level.

??? Fix your camera issues then. I have no problem with the camera in battles. Put enemy tracking up. You are just bad. Sorry.

game is the same everywhere afaik. you should get all the languages

Alright, 1-hour into the game, and I'm already in love.

My PC brethren are going to think I'm a moron, but I'm currently playing this on a PS4-Pro, on "High mode" (30FPS / Better GFX)....and I have to say, this game is one of the most incredibly smooth 30FPS games. I'm aware of all the motion blur and various tricks, but I'm just utterly impressed with what they've accomplished on limited tech. Especially compared to Dishonored 2 on console, which is insanely sluggish, control wise.

The combat is amazing, it's really unique, and just LOOKS awesome in motion. As much as I give shit to Square, they really do try / bring new stuff to the table in regards to combat gameplay.

I played the Justice Pinball game thing for an hour and got a Platinum Bangle. Tripled my HP lol.

So far I'm really enjoying this game.

Actually, I'm someone who finds fishing to be pretty sweet most of the time. You don't have to give me a lot though, nice music, tranquil atmosphere, some rare fish to catch, and I'm set.
Only fishing that sucked balls was Sonic Adventure.

Yeah, but it and the game won't come in until later today. I got the mgsv guide by the same people and I'd say, if you're a fan of the series, it's worth it. If not, it's useful when the game comes out because there won't be a lot of online guides (detailed at that) for a few days out weeks at least. But after a couple weeks when most stuff is explained on YouTube or gamefaqs it's not as necessary. As a collector's item, though, it should be pretty good.

Well reinstalling and playing without the patch only made things worse.

So is it my PS4 Pro?

Why would it only be doing this with this game?

WRONG.

Rune Factory Frontier.

Should've known everyone would start quoting obscure games at me :D

Alright guys, fishing doesn't always suck. Just in every game I've played in the last 20 years.

Progress in FF15 is so damn slow though. You have to catch like 5 fish to level up. And the vistas aren't that impressive/tranquil. They could've done better.

2 hours and really loving the game, just having fun at the moment running around killing monsters and completing hunts haven't even
gone back to Cid to pick up my car
yet. The tutorial sucked though and the lore thing was almost a waste of time.

maybe it is heavier on the GPU/CPU than the other games and shows a hardware flaw of your ps4 pro because of that.

Wait, the git gud comment was serious? I'm a bad player because the camera sucks, which is something that is pointed in both impressions and reviews? Even if I barely had any problem with fights and I only really died once because I entered a level 55+ dungeons being level 30?

Get the fuck off. Git gud now is used for people, that dosn't complain about difficulty, but now well for legitamte camera problems. Incredible.

Just incase you guys want to take a peek behind the curtain of what its like to be me right now.

EDIT: I changed TV's too just to be safe, which is why it looks different in this pic. I originally tried on my 50 inch Sony Bravia. This is my 27 inch LG

Get the Shuriken which makes Aerial battles far easier. Also unlock Airstep skill or the ultimate Airstep, which is essential for aerial battle.

You can use guns too.

I know you said you reset the PS4 but did you do a full power cycle? Hold the power button for idk how long and unplug the cord for about a minute.

I used to have weird graphic glitches on 2k16 with my OG because I've kept it on rest mode for long periods of time and doing a full power cycle helped.

I loved the demo, but I just checked Amazon Japan and the game is being beaten bloody. I dont care about the day one patch, awful story, lack of heroine, empty world too much, but is this game really under 20 hours? Thats ridiculous.

What is going on here?

looks like the errors I had when my GTX670 was dying.

amazon.co.jp always has low reviews. Look at the new pokemon games for example.

Alright I'm trying this now!

Decided to jump in and buy it

Never played any of the demos and haven't seen many trailers don't really know anything about the game apart from 4 dudes on a road trip and sometimes you fight giant summons or something haha

What's the best order to get the full experience?
I've heard about some anime called Brotherhood and I didn't see the film so is it...

Brotherhood > Kingsglaive > FFXV?

Sorry if it's been asked before

Appreciate the concise OP.
A book can be written about the road to release of FFXV but now the game is here after ten years. Let's cut to the chase.
